The Battlefield of Pacifists manga has been fully uplodaed into our Manga Archive and Assorted Stuff subforum. I implore you to read it and share your thoughts. What I like about it is how Heero and Relena's relationship is portayed however briefly. Please read it and share your thoughts here.

I like BFoP.
And I would like to add one thing...meaning no offense to those who like yaoi, but have you noticed that all the writers behind the show seem to support Heero/Relena? I mean, if you look at all the manga written by the show's staff (Episode Zero, Blind Target, BFoP), there's a distinct slant towards those two.

I wont argue the undenialable evidence that supports the 1xR pairing.
Fandomwise I love 1x2. But I equally support it to the teeth as I would 1xR. At first I disliked the two together I'll admit. I would have rather seen Heero alone then with Relena. However it is true they are an item. Their strengths and weaknesses play off on another to create that dynamic.
Relena while strong in her own sense is stronger because of Heero's Presence. Heero while being almost emotionless to a point and very by the book towards his missions, becomes as human and humane as a normal person should be when around Relena. It's that sort of relationship that makes them a great couple pairing.

I LOVED BFoP!!! It allowed me to see a different side of the pilots that wasn't revealed in the show or the movie.

I must confess, I did not really care for the art in BotP. It never really captureed me... Alas, I must admit as well... that it is probably the least favourite Gundam manga involving the time between the end of the series and Endless Waltz for me. Blind Target being my favourite >> <<. It's not that I hate BotP, it's just that it doesn't appeal as strongly to me. Although it is neat to see Duo and Heero talking about Heero and Relena's relationship, we don't get as much fed back in the other manga... Although Blind Target does have that nice little scene where... *Shuts up before she ruins it for others* One thing I did notice... being a slash fan and all... >> << The closer relationship with Quatre and Trowa... Trowa frets and worries over Quatre A LOT in BotP... Which is a nice perk for me because I happen to like that kind of thing... I am sorry if I pointed out some things people didn't want to hear other wise sweatdrop Heh, so yeah, that's basically my opinion of it all right there.

I personally own the manga and have read it over at least 5 times this month. I love it because it brings more light to the pilots and their relationships. Duo cracked me up in it too.

I think I've looked at the japanese version online....can't say I understood all that was said. Of course I might have read a translated version...I don't quite remember.
