It is VERY good! You'll love it; especially if you like looking at Gackt... The story line/plot is very interesting and Gackt looks all hot the entire time so there's that bonus...
There's not a lot of romance.... Hardly any at all actually. It's mostly about Kei and shou's relationship. (Gackt and hyde) And there is only a vague sense that they both like the girl..... I agree with this review...

While there are hints that both of them like her, don't expect much in the way of romance...and don't expect them to turn their backs on the visual kei factor...." --Reviewer at Amazon
However, I was blown away by it and I almost cried at the end. It was sad, but can be confusing some times. Watch it a few times before giving up...

Oh, another thing; this definately doesn't play on the whole "there's a bad guy to fight" thing that America has going. It mostly focus' on their relationships/emotions and how they deal with things that happen. It's a touching movie, if you seriously watch it ... and not just star at the screen with a nose bleed from watching Gackt and Hyde for so long.... lol
I almost cried... It was sad, funny, and heart-warming. Definately not for someone looking for the normal american hollywood themes though.
A lot of people complain that there is no plot; but that's not true. You just have to look for them, because Gackt didn't make it so that he could make a ton of money. It's a story; nothing more, nothing less.
American's don't take the time to consider everything, and I have to admit I fall victim to that a lot... I had to watch it a few times to find some of the plots/themes...

are you kidding? it is pretty good! vampires, gagsters. gackt and hyde! if it had miyavi in it it would be the best movie in the world!!! you need to see it if you have not already!

i say it's pretty good... not like super super good... movie-wise. but if you talk gackt-wise, i have to say it was awesome. lol. :XP: i have to quote this... "Action, comedy, drama, vampires, guns, Japanese rock stars in leather pants, and Susumu Terajima getting high as a kite and hallucinating gold fish, what more could you ask for?" - KFC cinema.com movie reviews but i honestly say go read this movie review site. this guy had the best and most honest opinion/review. 3nodding hope this helps ya! ^_^

In my opinion Moon child is a great movie and is definalty a good movie to watch even if you don't like Gackt or Hyde. It has two great singers. It's full of action, shooting, death, love, and some humor.
I'm not very good at writing reviews for mvoies. >.>;

extra added bonus... appearently You (the awesome violinist of GJ. ^_^ lol) is in it. think you can find him? xp
but yeah... i'm an action kinda person... so i mostly enjoyed the fight scenes. sweatdrop but i also love the fact that it had a deeper kinda... moral?... to the story... can't find too many those kinda movies now-a-days. sweatdrop

I loved that friggen movie.
It's really good. I cried once and almost cried another time, and yes, there are some parts that are confusing at first, but when you figure it out, it's thrilling.
My friends, who are not into J-Rock or Gackt or whatever at all, loved this movie.
So. I definitely recommend it.

OMG i loved it rofl i had two of my fiends that own it show it to me and i loved it i watched it like 5 times now ^^ it is fun to watch and it keeps you watchign it .......... it is also fun cause they speek in like 7 different languages (sp?) sorry i cant spell for crap sweatdrop but any way it is really good and you should see it hehe ninja

Moon Child... Arguably one of the best movies I've seen ever to tell the truth. I'm not saying that just because it has Gackt in it. When I got a hold of this movie... A Saturday I believe it was... Before the next Saturday I had already watched it Thirteen times.
What can I say, I was blown away by it. It was absolutly nothing like I expected. I had no Idea Gackt and HYDE could act so well, their talents are phonaminal. This is one of the only movies where I litterally did not move an inch the entire two hours of the movie.
I showed the movie to a friend of mine who ended up leaving the room in the first 15 minutes because he couldn't stand having to read the movie. I personally didn't exactly read the movie, I wish I could take the subtitles off because I can understand it all now, no thanks to the numbers of times watching it.
This movie made me laugh,
"Ouch... You've got a hole in your jacket"
"This cost me a lot assholes!"
This movie made me cry,
*spoiler* -> Toshi's Death Scene "I got a call from the orphanage... Mom came back for me... We're meeting here tomorrow..."
"Toshi! Don't you dare die Toshi!"
Shinji's Death Scene... He didn't shoot because of the baby...
The "death" scene of Sho with Kei<- *spoiler end*
Yes this movie made me cry, I'm not ashamed to admit it.
This movie has my new favorite quote,
"We watched the setting sun... A perfect orange glow... Both about to cry... For our final farewell..."
This movie is what sparked up my interest in Gackt as well. I've searched around for other Gackt Merchendise but to no avail... If anyone gets the chance to watch this movie, do it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
