A while back, i linked ignorance to some of the evils i could think of. Now it is time to apply it to Christianity. Many people have been and are misguided by some people claiming Christianity but teaching false beliefs. Some of the people that have been and are misguided were and/or are even believers in Christ. However, because they do not know what God says in His Word or do not have faith in it, they are easily misguided. The Holy Bible says in II Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (King James Version) I believe that this and having unwavering faith in God and what He says in His word is the key to not being misguided and/or misguiding others. For example, one common belief held by some people that is caused by being misguided is that Christianity is evil. Some people use the Crusades as justification for that belief. Yes the Crusades were so awful that i lack the words to fully describe how awful they were. However, Christianity itself is not the cause of the Crusades. The cause was ignorance. An ignorant leader leading ignorant men that do not know what God's Word says. Christianity teaches love, peace, etc etc, NOT evil such as this sort of violence, vengence, malice, and other bad behaviors and ways of thinking.
Point: many people are misguided due to their own ignorance and sometimes the ignorance of those who misguide them. Being an ignorant Christian could more than likely cause you to misguide others and possibly contribute to the cause for the damnation of some of those people. I believe that the key to solve this problem is studying, understanding, and having faith in God's Word and in Him. So...

BTW, hopefully you caught the sarcasm in the title (the title is the opposite of what i believe).

For older members that might remember me: I apologize for my inactivity in the guild for the past few months. I have been embarking upon a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. Part of that journey is due to me being a teen and not only are teen's body's still developing, but also our brains. Therefore, who we will be (personality wise and such) is not set. What we do now ties the connections that create who we will be. So i have been trying to mold myself into who i want to be as an adult. I have also been without internet for a few weeks. Then i had to wait a month to get some maintanence done on my laptop. And on top of that, school has been slaughtering me with work...amongst other things. So ive been gone for a lot of reasons. Mainly the first i think.
