Welcome to the Magical Melody thread! Here you can find all sorts of info and discuss about one of the recent additions to the name Harvest Moon. New and innovative, Magical Melody for the Gamecube is a huge title with so many different things to do. Choosing to play as either a boy or a girl, you buy a piece of land and begin your farming journey. Grow tons of crops, plant trees, raise animals, buy land, fish, forage, and find a spouse!
New Features
- Play as a boy.. or a girl! This game has content for both genders, as opposed to buying to seperate titles.
- Several spouse options from the original Harvest Moon and Save the Homeland.
- You don't famr on your familie's land! Instead your purchase one of three lots to start out with; one near the river that's small, one near town that's even smaller, and one near the ocean with non-fertile land.. but atleast it's larger.
- Buy more land! Don't worry if you pick a small lot, you can buy several pieces of land in this game and even move your house or houses around!
- The village stars out small but you can make it bigger by doing random things to help the town. So ship plenty of everything you find and plant lots of crops, trees, and flowers!

Wow! This game looks really cool! I looked at it once in BlockBuster but I thought it was just a lame game where you compose music but now that I've actually heard details about it it seems really awesome! I've been wanting to buy it now for a while but when I went to Wal-Mart they were all sold out. crying
They only had a few G.C. games. The Wii has made the G.C. obsolete!!

it is a great game though some of the music is really stupid i started in the ocean lot and then bought the river and then the villae center and i planted like this giant orchard i married Kurt

There are so many romantic choices. I think there was like 10 for the boy and 10 for the girl. I need to count them next time I play to see if that # is right. I play as the girl and I can only narrow down the choices to about 5. Its so hard some of them are so cute. whee

I got married to Alex my first time and after the wedding scene (Finally!) I was just walking out of my house and Kurt pops up and gives me a brouch. I just got married and apperently Kurt doesn't care that Alex is right inside. he just thinks "Oh, she married, whatever I'm not going to get on with my life". And yes I don know that you need him to give you a gift for a musical note but right after I got marreid?!?

I love the game!! I married Alex and I've kind of gotten to the point where there's not much left to do save for collect the rest of the notes. I started a guy character but I haven't decided yet who to make him marry... Has anyone played the guy and married either Eve, Dia, or Nina? I can't decide. sweatdrop

Alex and they are Rivals, and she is like at
the clinic all the time. So one time I walked
into the clinic and watered her. x].
Then I fainted. But it was still fun!

I have three boyfriends: Alex, Joe and Ray. Is more fun to be a girlfriend, someday I will marry one of them and get serious. I really loved the scene when Joe declares that he likes me and he's always thinking of me. It really made me blush!!! redface redface redface
