'.[[ So I got my DAT results yesterday.
...they're to show you the types of careers you'd be best at and whatnot.
So say you got, 80% in one of tests, that would mean you're in the top 20% of the highest scores in the entire country for that particular area.
    So there's nine tests and I got 97%, 89%, 98%, 94%, 99%, 94%, 85%, 96% and a second 96%!!
    I impressed myself. xD!

Believe me, it's a weird feeling to know you're in the top 1% of all of Ireland. Dx
Well top 1% of all secondary school students anyways. xD!

I took a career test once. It told me I'd be stuck behind a desk making someone else a lot of money.

Or perhaps you'd rather make your own oblivious and presumptious opinions...in which case, keep them to yourself. Self-made assumptions and propaganda are just pathetically attempted slurs.

I consistantly score in the 99+th percentile on all standardized tests. meaning that out of 100 people I am generally going to be the best one at whatever it was they were testing.

I've taken those career aptitude tests before. I usually score pretty high in every area, meaning that there is no real career for me.

Sometimes I think those career tests are a bunch of rubbish... but then again, there are other times when I think they actually work. It's just that sometimes I wonder why people don't choose careers that interest them. Why don't people do things they like to do for a living? Sometimes I just don't get it...

Anything for money.

There are three types of results from the career aptitude tests:

1. You're stupid. Get a job wherever you can. IF you can. Seriously, I heard Starbucks is hiring.

2. You're talented in this area: ______. You should get a job here.
(This is who the test was designed for, and who it actually helps.)

3. You're talented in all academic areas. You're too damned smart for your own good. This test was a waste of your time. You're ********, as you'll spend half your life trying to figure out what you want to do, and the other half regretting it.

Oh how I long to be in Group 2...
