Tee hee. I looked ata couple of pages of the story boards we have for the DW Christmas special and there is only one that sticks out in my mind. I munna tell you all about it, becuase I feel like it! XD
You see the Doctor, with the Bride (who's name I forget) and then you see one of Rose's pink jackets. The Doctor picks it up, looking all sad. He moves over to the T.A.R.D.I.S door and opens it....into the middle of space. He then goes on to throw Ros'es jacket out the door.
That made me cry!!! I'm not entirely sure if the story board we have is a final one, but since my dad was working from it, it should be. So, yea. SAD SCENE. crying
If I can, I'll scan the actual page for you guys.

I like it! A good way to symbolize that Rose is gone for good, and the Doc's moving on. Plus it'll save him from answering some embarrasing questions when he starts going out with Martha. We already saw what happens when the Doctor's current girl finds out about an ex in School Reunion...

I didnt think Rose left anything with him, i mean, she seemed to have all her bags packed when she left the TARDIS.. And wouldnt opening the TARDIS doors in space cause a vaccum and kill The Doctor.
Yay plot hole spotting. But scan them anyway!

Alright! Can't wait to see that.
I agree with Zeoronics about the Doctor opening the TARDIS' doors in space. I doubt he'd do something as stupid as that.

Nashiba I doubt he'd do something as stupid as that. Plus, there's surely some mechanism in the TARDIS to stop you from opening the doors in space. Although in one of the books, the Doctor says he disabled many of the failsafes to keep the TARDIS working. And where would the jacket end up? What if it hit the window of some spaceship? Disaster! gonk

He's opened the door into space loads of times. Specially in the Second Doctor ones. And the audios too. So I don't think it would be too bad... though most times when he opens the doors he has to cling to the console to stop from being sucked out.
I'm actually surprised he chucks the jacket out. He never seems to chuck anything out.
