Haha I like to buy lady bugs and put them all over my mom's roses when there are aphids everywhere. xD It usually doesn't work too well because they all fly away...but I really just like to buy the lady bugs and play with them. It's like the only bug I am not afraid of. Maybe I'm just wierd like that? 0_o; I always thought lady bugs were kinda cute looking...anyone else think so? |

You can order lady bugs and praying mantises (mantii?) to help kill the bugs. Using pesticides actually kills off these (and other) helpful preditor bugs, and creates more bugs to eat your plants. I don't think that ants hurt roses (they're pollonators for peonies, or at least if you remove them from peonies they don't bloom, at least our's didn't) but aphids do and lady bugs are wonderful for eating them. |

Kukushka I'm pro-meat, pro-fur (speaking of which, I got a lovely new jacket as a wedding present with a fur collar, is so sooooooft), anti-pre-commitment-sex (I strongly believe that you should have no reason to have sex with more than one person unless your first has been dead for several years), pro-animal-testing on pharmaceuticals (not makeup or "beauty products" or viagra-like stuff), pro-limited family (one/two child(ren) per family), anti-drug, anti-fast-foods, anti-alcoho. But same as you, Le Chat. I honestly don't give a flying ******** what anyone other than me or my husband do (and my rules for my husband are MUCH less strict than my rules for myself).

Well, I'm not so much anti-drugs or alcohol, I'm just anti-doing either in excess or to the point where it harms others. That's pretty much the way I am with everything, though. As long as you aren't hurting other people or infringing on their rights I don't give a s**t what you do. |

I, too, share the view that excess is just that: excessive. It's about the only thing my boyfriend and I fight about. He smokes pot and I really don't mind, it's just if he gets on this every single day thing where I come by and his eyes are all red and he's giggling like a sass that I get put off about it. |

Usually on a political level i'm also pro-do-whatever-the-hell-you-want-aslong-as-you-dont-break-smart-laws.
My pros include: pro-porn, pro-cucumbers, pro-healthfoods, pro-pill popping, pro-barter system...
My antis include: anti-smoking, anti-harmful drugs, anti-cat declawing, anti-celebrity status for non-vital jobs, anti-underage marriage/childbearing, anti-money, anti-poverty, anti-surplus...
to name just a few of each. I can't think cuz it's near 3am. Anyone want to question me on some of those feel free.
