For all those choir/music junkies out there......This guy has an insane falsetto. It's in Russian with Chinese subtitles, but still insane. Mochi has also listened to is. Our choir teacher played it after one of the tenors found it randomly.

Clickie. [/completely Xous safe]

Oh yeah. That's an insanely high C he's hitting. High lyric sopranos in head-voice can hit that only with lots and lots of training/conditioning. And to be able to do that on a scale......Insane.....O_O

I saw this the other day...he scared me. I really do not know much about music but I like him...

Heh. I like the music stuff.

But yeah. It's a high high high C he's hitting. In other words, higher than most lyric sopranos can go in head-voice. xD

So how hard is it to do what he is doing? And is that akin to opera?...

Insane. My falsetto on a good day can only hit a treble cleff E on a really good day. And to do that on a scale with that much support.......

Insanely hard.

Closest is head-voice. Adds to your range.

With most falsettos, there is a decent-sized gap between where your natural voice ends and where you can easily pick up falsetto. So I skip over most of the tenor cleff...

I think girls have... four or five changes in voice going through the basic range. They don't need falsetto.

I'll admit he's awesome for being a guy and being able to do that. I can hit that note, but not as loudly. sweatdrop *takes private voice lessons*

It's more of a matter of clarity in it. Because falsetto at that range is normally really really light and hard to hear. With the clairy of the pitch he adds to it, the mic picks it up better.

Wonder if i'm making sense.....Okay. Easier explanation. He's using a good pitch to be picked up by the mic and make it sound extremely loud.

I might take voice lessons soonish. I'm somewhere between bass and baritone.

Eh, Alto can sound really really good. I'll find a good example of that and post it...

Look on the bright side. Hardly any sopranos make it as pop singers. stare

Just be sure to take from a guy teacher. Our chorus director says it's best to be taught by someone in your range.

I'd more likely take it from one of my music teachers. The one who does the middle school choir, all-girls upperclass choir (insanely good), and the all-guys choir thing (which i'm in). She knows a lot. And she's been working with the guys for a long long time now. ^^

She does know about my voice because I was in Vivace last year (middle school).
