Sorry if there's another thread for this but I couldn't find it.

so, i was watching some earlier smallville episodes today, i think they were all from season 4 and i realized that some of the stuff they showed or said in those earlier episodes ended up getting told differently in more recent episodes.

First off, Episode Gone (Season 4, Episode 2.....I think) Lois and Clark have figured out Chloe is really not dead and in her grave and that Lois's father probably knows where she is. Lois is snooping on her father's desk. We see a picture of him, his wife, and a young Lois (aged 3 at the very most) but no hint of a Lucy Lane. Sure she would have been younger, but she would have at least been born. Wouldn't she have been in a family portrait, especially since we've found out that Lucy is her father's "favorite" daughter?

Also, in that episode, Lois and Clark are talking about how the troops came out to get Lois from Smallville. Lois says, "That was nothing. You should have seen my escort for prom." but later, in the actual prom episode when she goes to prom with clark, she says that she never went to her prom. MIS-take!

And an editing error in the episode "Spell": Lois is handing Clark 2 boxes full of supplies for the surprise birthday party they're throwing for Chloe. When she stacks the two boxes in his arms, a box with silver and purple tinsel is on the top and a box with some random orange object sticking out is on the bottom. Throughout this scene, the order of what is on top and bottom is changed continuously.

I love catching mistakes like this! biggrin

haha, actually, i was watching these older episodes with some other people and they were really the first ones to pick up on it. Well, I picked up on the Lucy thing. but really, the other two things were them.

yeah, very true. and it's understandable when you do have different writers coming on, etc. They really do a good job of making almost everything with great continuity. it's just fun to catch the little tiny mistakes here and there.

Happens all the time. In Zod, Martha's cut moves from over her right eye to her left. And during the fight between Clark and Zod, the blood on Clark's face like appears and goes away throughout the fight.

I've actually noticed this.
I'm not sure if its a mistake but in some of the episodes well alot of them...
Well.. heres an example.

Lets say Clark is talking to Lex. The camera will show Clark talking to Lex. Once Clark is done talking the camera shows Lex's reaction. If you can, you can see Clark's mouth is moving but no words are coming out.

Did anyone notice this?

The first episode this season Zod pins Lana's hand to a wall by means of sword... In the second episode (about a week later) Lana doesn't have it bandaged up nore does she have have any pains in her hand reflecting that it was just stabbed to a wall not that long ago...

I'll have to watch it agian...
