I'm in a bit of a pickle. My parents got us tickets to go see a taping of Celebrity Jeopardy two weekends from now. It was going to be me, both my parents, and Burger. But due to unknown circumstances, two weekends from now is also the release of the new block of Magic: the Gathering cards and there's a whole day-long tournament and stuff like that. I'm not mad at Burger for wanting to go to the tournament. I'm just really disappointed at the timing of all these events. Why does stuff like this always happen to me? At least I think I have an alternate plan in case Burger can't come with me.
And no, I'm not writing this post as a guilt trip. I'm just writing it to get out my frustration that there's nothing I can do to change the date of either event.

Yeah, I'm going to use my alternate plan. Tomorrow I'm going to call a friend from home and see if she wants to go with me. Worst case scenario is that we don't use the 4th ticket. They were free anyway.
