now, im a full believer in nessie, being obsessed with large scaley things with teath, so i was looking up pictures of her, even though all the ones ive seen you can tell they are fake, but i still believe for some reason
just felt like posting up some fun little links of pics and fakes and reasons for being real or fake

feel free to post up anything you want about nessie too
in other words in just a thread dedicated to the believing in nessie and/or the fraud of her

EDIT
this pic right here is a fake, but im putting it up for reference.

these are the "real" ones until i read something proving otherwise
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.beckjord.com/nessie/ebness.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.beckjord.com/nessie/index.html&h=418&w=292&sz=17&hl=en&start=198&tbnid=lPQhHUKdhh9yaM:&tbnh=125&tbnw=87&prev=/images?q=nessie&start=180&ndsp=18&svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&sa=N

and this one got on my nerves, its a freaking tree for gods sake!

I find Nessie hard to believe in for some reason. But I do believe in Champ, the Lake Champlain "monster"

I love Nessie lore, I'm very excited to hear more. whee (and you are right, that is so obviously a branch it's kind of sickening anyone tired to claim anything else...)

I'm a huge fan of Nessie but I just don't believe she exists. I use to when I was little but not any more.

But if she did it wouldn't be as hard as everyone makes it out for her to hide. I'm pretty sure I heard or read about a theory that almost all the lock (damn can't remember the spelling) in Scottland are connected underground so if she was real she would be able to escape to somewhere else if need be.

I think there is a big possibilty for nessie to exist.

Did you guys know that Lake Tahoe, Nevada ripped off the whole nessie tale and they have "Tessie". lol

Do tell us the story.
And is more common to call Nessie a 'she' not a 'he'.

The photographer of the picture in you first link has admitted to his picture being a fake. He was a professional photograph and used a small model and his son’s toy boat to keep it afloat.

A sub? Well I have heard stories about nessie just being a cover-up story for a top-secret military bass.

Supposedly a few have been found over the years. Are you talking about the one that was found in a whales belly or some thing like that?

There's not really anywhere to built a military base up there. It's all hills and mountains. Plus the English and Scottish parliaments don't get a long. I don't think either would allowed the other to have anything like a top-secret base. xd

The story of Nessie can also be traced back hundred of years. In fact the first report signing was by Saint Columba in the 7th Century.
And I bring a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nessie
