I usually enjoy reading books in little chunks. However, when I read The Kite Runner, I simlpy could not put it down. I flew through chapter by chapter. If a book's really great, often times you wont even know how many pages have gone by. surprised I love that feeling.

I know that feeling. Reading until your eyes burn, and when you are forced to eat all you think about is that book. ANd when you try to sleep at night that book keeps you awake and you must finish it........ I haven't had a book like that in a long time.

I hope to have a book like that someday. I've come close but not quite to that extent.

I can't wait for the new and *gulp* last HP book to come out. If I'm reading that and anyone come to talk to me I will hiss and growl at them. evil

I finally read vol. 3 and 4 of ROD the manga, I just had to keep reading. eek

Many many times. My mom has come in and actually told me to do something other than reading. I try to argue that few teen-agers find reading as appealing as I do so she should encourage me, but that sadly never works. When I do have to dragged away from the love of my life then I have trouble focusing on other things because I keep thinking of the book.

I have encountered few books which I couldn't let go.
The two first Harry Potter books, the other four just for the "Three-day-reading".

The "Loophole"-series by Niklas Krog are the only other books I can think of. sweatdrop

That happens to me a lot. I have a certain bedtime and I read before I go to bed but if the book's really good then it's always "one more page", and then "one more page", and then "one more page", etc. until it's two hours past my bedtime.

That sort of thing happens to me all the time. I'll bring a book to bed with me with the intent of reading just a little more, and end up finishing the book before actually going to sleep.

Books also tend to distract me from schoolwork. sweatdrop I'll be so into a book that I start off reading it in my spare time (once I'm done with my work at the moment), and then end up sneaking peeks at it every spare second. The more I like a book, the better I'm glued to it.

I wouldn't get up off the couch until I finished the 6th Harry Potter book. razz
