I was trying to explain to my friend, that if you really think about it...Edward and Jacob are opposites. Has anyone seen the movie Unbreakable with Bruce Willis? It is sorta like that...
Edward: Cold
Jacob: Hot (in a degree sense)
Edward: Pale
Jacob: Tan
Edward: More uptight and formal
Jacob: More relaxed and unformal
Both: Same weakness: Bella.

Edward came first, so I like him just a teeny bit more than Jacob. Just a teeny tiny bit more.
I think that they're the same in personality though: protective, caring, you know?

I dont believe we should have to choose. I dont think that's what Stephenie wanted us to do.
I love them both, I want them both to be happy, and I think Jacob will find someone who'll make him just as happy as Bella makes Edward.
I mean really, a guy like Jake is a rare thing, and someone's GOTTA see that.

I didn't find Jacob that interesting in the first book, but I really liked him in the second one. I thought he was adorable and I was rooting for him. I almost wish Bella had been with him, even for a little while, just because it would cause way more cuteness.
But, like most said, Edward comes first, probably because he was first. The only thing I don't like about Edward is how hard and cold his body is (that's just gross...I mean, who wants to lay with or kiss cold rock?). Oh well.

I have to admit, I love the out of control werewolf more than I love the vampire. I dont knwo why, but I do. Jacob just seems more..I dunno...real to me n a way I guess. Sure, Edward is a God with a Silver Volvo, but Jacob won me over.

Yes, they are quite different from each other. I mean, their races are sworn enemies of eachother. Still, as said, they both care for Bella. Honostly, I'm hoping that in the next book they'll tag team and put their differences aside to protect Bella. That would the SWEETEST alliance ever.
While I do have a spot for Jacob, I love Edward the most. Edward just fits my kind of guy more.
I agree. I do hope Jacob does find someone. He deserves that. He's a really, really sweet guy and I'm sure he would make someone very happy.
