Drum set... of course.
And bongos on some songs. Though, we haven't started jazz band yet, since our band instructor usually waits until marching band season comes to a close. But I'm looking forward to it, since I think I'll be in the A band this year.

Vibraphone even doing the four mallet thing. I'd love it more if my class didn't start at 6:30 in the morning an hour before the rest of the school. When I joined everyone said Welcome to the ranks of the living dead.

Our band isn't having a Jazz Band this year... which SUCKS!! but if we could, i'd audition for Vibes.
Last year our jazz band didn't have any soprano saxs, but we had clarinets.

well im in middle school so we dont have a jazz band but whe ni go to borphy i wanna play drum set bcuz im a percussionist and switching instruments is jsut WRONG!!!

and I kinda don't like it. =/
Our other keyboardist was amazing.
She could sight-read music in a minute.
I take a little longer to process and my director just isn't used to it since our school just opened up 2 years ago and she was the first keyboardist.
But I'm loving jazz band <3

you are forgeting 2 o the best instruments adn those are the Guitar and Bass Guitar! i play Guitar and im learning the Drum set
