.... we can have a thread AND a guild. Yes, yes we can. We can keep getting new members this way, because guilds just don't acquire members the way threads do. We don't need to run the game in the thread AND guild, but giving a link to the Archives might be a good idea. That is, if we do it. -THE RELEVANT BITS OF THE GCP GUIDELINES- Seth Darkheart Thread Creation Guidelines Thread Placement The threads allowed in the GCP fall broadly under two categories; Gaia Events and Offsite Projects, of which some subcategories are given below: Gaia Events Gaia User Events / Games Offsite Projects Wikis / Guides All projects must be tied to the community in some way; birthday parties and random chatter podcasts have no place in this forum. Guide threads created in the GCP must also be community-centered; guides focusing on Gaia as a website and offering users advice regarding its use belong in the Gaia Guides & Resources forum. With the exception of user run events, all topics must provoke discussion and must be kept on-topic. Discussion about the project or event itself satisfies this requirement, be it in the way of suggestions for future expansions of the project or something else. If the purpose of your project thread is to give you and your friends a place to hangout on Gaia or does not pertain to the community, it will be removed from the forum. -Recruitment Threads- Recruitment threads for on-site projects must contain detailed information. "Go here!" threads are not allowed in this forum and are much better suited to the Chatterbox. Okay... so there's a lot of relevant bits. Personally, I think it could work. 3nodding And we'd get more members again. Which is good, considering our games have been less fun recently... -coughsincetheUndergroundleftcough-So. Um. Yeah. Good idea? sweatdrop

It sounds good, and surely, it'd work to an extent. However, anyone who finds the thread must also need some idea of how the game is played. Relative bits and pieces, anyway. I understand we could tell them, in as simple words as possible, but it's hard to get a strong idea. And I'm currently going through that. XD; Still haven't played a game yet.

Just have a really detailed rules post, just like the guidelines say. And, um, have examples of past games. xD And scenarios, and stuff.

I wonder if we could ressurect the thread.
Would you all rather play the game in the thread again?

We could also post in the GGN Guilds Forum... advertising.
@ Zaeyde, I like the guild better, it's much easier to keep track of things.

Zaeyde I wonder if we could ressurect the thread. Would you all rather play the game in the thread again? NOOOOOOO. D: You can actually get noticed in guilds, even though your posts don't archive. And I was actually talking to a few people a week or so ago, and they all said GUILD > THREAD -nodnodnod- So... yeah.

Aine misses the thread. We could have BOTH the guild and the thread, but maybe the game could officially be played in one of them? ninja

I think the thread would be a bad idea...
Good for picking up new members, However, I think bad stuff would happen if we actually played the game in the thread. This is just so...
