The Palace Gates "Welcome to the Palace I recently came into ownership to. I'll introduce you to the denizens of this sparkling and enchanting home" Ru steps side, her slender tanned arm outstretched then swept to the side to revel a sight worthy of being called a palace garden. A red and stone bricked path leads towards a large water fountain. The fountain is three foot high made of dark sand colored stone with two large, thin arches overlapping with a steady sheet of water cascading down and lovely deep green ivy and red climbing roses intertwining with the arches and each other.
The lawn you pass along the path towards the fountain is perfectly manicured with a tulip garden and a lavender garden on either side. Walking along the path around the fountain, its clear water sparkling in the sun, Ru leads you straight. She does stop to wave to the path to the left and right. "The one to the right takes you directly into the library and the one to the left leads to the labyrinth. That path also takes you by an apple and pear orchard." The path to the library is lined with shady tall trees with thick branches and the other way indeed had the fragrant trees, twelve in total. Of the labyrinth, only a tall deep green hedge can be seen.
The palace itself stands welcomingly in front now, herb gardens welcome you and Ru with their fragrance. The grand doors are of lovely deep cherry and are six feet high. The two story palace's windows and up stairs balcony doors were open with their drapes flowing in the light breeze. "I'll show you to the rooms of the denizens. I wouldn't say they were of a royal family, just managed to find this abandoned place and were able to pay for someone to fix it up with the items left in the treasure room."

Ru leads you up a large stairway made of polished cherry wood, like most of the house, with cushioned cream-colored carpet covering most of the wood of the stairs and, indeed, the whole house besides a few rooms. She keeps her hand on the thick, smooth banister as she climbs up. The first door way of double doors made of light cherry with celtic designs carved into the doors, a dragon as the center piece. Brass door knobs glisten and darken from the shadow made from Ru’s hand as she reaches for it and turns it. "This is Takairi's rooms"
The first thing that is seen, is the carpet from the rest of the house seems to flow down the three stairs that lead down into the sitting room much like it was lead you. The sitting room has a day bed made of blue and green silks with a tasseled pillow of emerald green thrown on it.
A small, short cypress table sits on the other side of the door way from the day bed with an abandoned deep blue porcelain cup sitting on it and three pillows around it for sitting. A few more satin pillows were sitting in a corner. The room itself was painted a tropical, light orange. The door way from that room to the room beyond was obscured by purple, green, blue and brown beads set in front of a silk drapery of light green.
Ru walks lightly through the room, waving for you to follow her as she walks through the barrier between the rooms. A grand king sized bed with large cherry wood posters that support a set of drapery that hides the bed from view. To the left of the door way are three book shelves full of books, Ru speaks, "She liked to read in here more then anywhere else." The open balcony ruffles the drapery over the bed some and a hammock can be seen swaying. There was plenty of light, on a light oak table sat three potted orchids and tiger lilies in terracotta pots. There was also a terrycloth towel with a round pillow on the floor in front of the balcony doors, "Sun, or moon, bathing spot."
Looking to the room to the left, the bathroom, then to the right, a stuffed animal room, she looks back and says, "Let me tell you about her."

The dark oak double doors to the room to right Takairi’s, decorated with flowing deep engraved lines, and was her next stop. With no hesitation, Ru opened the doors to a set of rooms not as big as Takairi’s but in the same lay out. The sandy-colored carpet was softer but not thicker then what was in the hall and a gentle incline leads into the sitting room. This sitting room did not have furniture like Takairi’s, but it was furnished. There was a custom-made tan daybed, it didn’t have legs and is very wide to accommodate his coils very comfortably. The bed had extra cushions because rough or bumpy surfaces were not pleasant on his sensitive serpentine body. There was however, one chair that had legs; he had it in case someone came in that was not serpentine like him.
Since it was mainly Takairi that would come and talk with him, the chair was made of a dark colored with a green silken pillow. There was a low wide onyx colored table. It was easier to relax and eat if he was fully extended and wrapping around the table made him comfortable. He had some art on the wall, not really pictures but bold dark colors mingling and swirling around on the soft gold painted wall.
A thick blanket served as his door to his actual bedroom, its purposes was to block the heat of this bedroom. Again, this was because he was being courteous to his guests. Ru walked past the blanket into the warm room, the temperature was normally kept at about 85 degrees, and on the carpeted walk way, only a three foot wide strip of carpet that lead to a large bed and pooled around it do someone could get out of the bed and step forward once without stepping on the warm sand. Yep, he had sand in his room that lay on top of a heater and cooler system.
The bed was roughly a king size with no feet or foot board. The head board sat on the ground as did the pillow top mattress and box spring. It was of dark wood managed to stay pretty cool despite the room most of the time. On the left side of the bed, the sand was warm most of the time and there was a flat heating rock for him as well. That side lead to the balcony where as the other side, normally cooler, leads to the bathroom.
The room was made to keep him well and active in the winter time and so that he could make sure he was prepared to go out side in the unregulated temperature. Now, he was part mammal so he was able to slightly regulate himself, but not enough and the warmth of his room gave him more energy to seize the day.

"This treasure room." Ru replied, looking towards a door towards the start of the unknown hall. "I keep copies of the denizen's toys, just in cause something happeneds to the one they have, I can replace it." Looking around causiously, she adds, "Takairi would tear me to pieces, as would the others, but thats okay
This is what Takairi's favorite stuffed animal, it lays in her bed. Hers is worn and I am positive she sleeps with it every night, I caught her once.
This is Drake's stuffed animal, it lays near his bed, now its in great shape and I have never caught him holding it, so I don't know what the story is.
Rin's snuggle, gnawing, and scratching toy. Hers is in the worse condition. I already replaced it twice.
