Meimei_Tenjou Hi I'm trying to make some Loveless cat ears, but dunno how sweatdrop I was thinking of shaping my hair with gel or hair spray, but i wanted to know if there was possibly another way to make some Loveless ears ^^ Ah, I cosplayed as Ritsuka for Anime Boston this year. Though, I took the easy way out by using a head band, and some wire, and cloth.
Took the headband, and formed 2D cat ears with the wire, the I made a cloth slip to put over it. You couldn't see the headband because my hair was jet black.
If you were to cosplay as someone like Youji, you could make the ears out of a wire frame (Steal the wire from a coat hanger if you have too) and form the ears, then make a cloth slip for the two ears. Take a clear elastic and tie it to the ears and then you can put them on with out the band being visible.
Sorry if that's a little hard to understand. If you have any questions about it I'll try to say it in a more coherent way sweatdrop *Has a hard time making sentences that make sense*

Meimei_Tenjou Don't worry about it! you make perfect sense to me! ^^ Do you have any pictures of your cat ears by the way?? Sadly no, but what I made was identical to what you can get at party shops. You know, like the kitty-suit girls on the package and they come with the tail and the ears, sometimes a bow-tie o_o;; As for the other ear's I was talking about, I bought a pair kinda like them at Anime Boston one year, except they were plastic ears with fur on the back. Not exactly great looking, that's why I recommend cloth covers that you could maybe use some fabric paint on the front of the ears.
Here is a half-a** example I doodled in MS pain for you >.>; I was a but... uncreative with it, sorry. I hope you can understand the idea, I was going to draw a pattern for the cloth, but that was difficult without being able to hold a piece of cloth, hopefully you can kinda understand sweatdrop *To lazy for her own good*

I actuallly made a hat with some cat ears recently and they look really great, they've got a curve to them and stand on their own, if you make them out of fleece they'll stand much better than if you used some other fabric.
^.^;; maybe i'll get around to makeing a post with a pic of themsoon...

sorry there's only one pic... i'd say it would be best to put them on a head band or if you're crafty try and get them on some hair clips (i'm going to try the hair clips way for the up comming con, myself)

This probably isn't what you're looking for (and only works if you have semi-long hair) but once I braided small section of my hair on each side of my head, braiding a twist tie (or wire) into them, then folded them into a cat-ear shape and held the bottom in place with a hair clip or bobby pin.
