anybody have any comments on the new installment of the Final Fantasy VII series, Dirge of Cerberus? like it, love it?
personally, i love the storyline, but im not so fond of the battle style. the battle style and gameplay could have been made ALOT better, in my opinion... but it certainly is awsome to see the world in the eyes of vincent ^__^

oh my god, i totally love this game, this game is awesome. It took me one week to beat it. I only found a small handfull of unlockables. i going to replay it again on hard after i finish all the extras missions.
Is there a soundtrack for this game i love the japanese pop music at the end?

I am a rent before I buy kind of person thinking I would totally buy it, it took 8 hours to beat i was completly disapointed and thankful that i didnt buy it first, It's a fun game but once i have beat a game i dont often pick it up again.

I loved the graphics & the CGI.......very disappointed with the battle system. Errrr didn't know Cait Sith had a irish accent. xd
Next thing you know Tifa will be speakin welsh or something

the game was awesome!!!!....it could have been longer....like about 3 more disks longer....but it was awesome all the same...i bought it and i plan to keep it for replay value! (also....cait sith irish?! wtf?)

Nice storyline, but I didn't find the gameplay interesting... Repetative and hard considering not that the enemies are hard, but the camera being so slow and the the weak melee battle system really messes it up...
*sigh* It sucks when it's hard to beat a guy not because it's hard, but because you can't move your character correctly.

My main consern, it was too short. 9 hours to complete
Also the lack of online multiplayer (was in the original JP version, but was dropped in favor of extra missions due to the lack of intrest with the multiplayer in japan.)

I loved the story line, but I somewhat agree with many of you about the gameplay. Although it wasn't a true 1st person shooter, as I read above, it was a 3rd person shooter, although you could switch to 1st person mode. But the American version from what I've heard compared to the Japanese version is MUCH better. From what I was told, in the Japanese version, you can't jump and shoot like you can in the American version, and that the Limit Break in the Japanese version is that you have to fill up a bar. Also, it was WAY too short for my liking, 7.5 hours? C'mon. I felt like I was playing a Metal Gear Solid game. Although I must admit, it does have a plethora of replay value.
And also, the music at the end of the game was fantastic. Gackt is one hell of a singer. ^^

it was pretty short (10 hours because i collected lots of stuff) but it still pwned the gameplay was good and the music at the end was awesome and for the whole cait sith bein irish if you watched AC you would no that

So far I love it a lot! though I'm not the one actually playing it. The story plot seems so interesting and I never want my brother to stop. It goes more in depth of Vincent's past so that's why its getting awesome. ^^

I thought it was a great game with a nice story fit for vincent, I'm hoping they make another spin-off featuring one of the other characters.
oh and cait siths accent is scottish not irish
