Some people think that right before you are born you get to see a video (so call it) of your life and when it is done you come into the world. But is that true and if it is can you acsses those memories to re view parts of the tape sweatdrop

yes it is very intresting , but im inclined to think it not true. Theres no point.. at that point in time you couldnt even slightly comprehend it, although i suppose your spirit could see it

When I was younger, I used to think exactly that- and I was under the opinion that the reason babies died was because they didn't like what they saw on the 'video'. As for now... I think it's unlikely, but it would explain incidencees like Deja vu, like Hayate of the Wind said.

Mnja... My De Ja Vus usually come from dreams I had a few months/years prior. The latest instance of one was from a dream I had when I was still going to primary school. Must have been the last grade or something. I remember a dark place, grass, a slide, a loooot of people, a gravel path, the forest starting on the other side... and tents. The setting of these things wasthe exact same setting as in my dreams, and I was standing in the exact same place as I was in my dreams. I was going away from the stage to go get my pills from the tent. I met my primary school classmate. And all of a sudden had that "AHA" moment - "So that's it!" I remembered these dreams because it was a rock festival and the ex classmate I met didn't listen to anything close to rock back then.
These things happen a lot with me. But it's usually meaningless scenes. Standing in the middle of the street in winter and a cat walks by. Going up the stairs and seeing my sis on a tree, the dog barking under it and my dad on a ladder cutting the branches.
I don't believe you see a movie of your life before you are born. That would mean that every last microsecond of your life was planned, right down to what kind of cereal you bought by accident last Monday. I think we are here to learn a thing or two and that is our mission. If those babies died because they didn't like it, tough luck, the next time they're born they're gonna have it even harder. I believe you are born so many times that you finnally learn what you're supposed to learn.

I don't believe you see a video either. That would kind of be like manifest destiny. I cannot believe that whoever put us here already has our live all planned out. We make our own destiny. It is not preordained.

I think that yes it would help the Deja Vu moments.
But no, If it is turn and there was a a way to prove it in some way.
There is no way how a newborn will remember anything.
The remembering anything part of the brain does not work, or will collect info and remember till about 3 years old.
You can remeber little bits when you are 1 or 2. And will you see a picture or a video tape it helps with the remembering part.
Well in other words. I think I make my own destiny, and everyone should follow there heart, not there brain!

I kind of agree with Tazzy Wolfstar on this, but at the same time, agree with you. I think that ya, maybe it could be true, and that we do have a given path at first. But as time goes on and you grow older, i think what we could have seen would be changed. So I guess if you think about it, Maybe that "video" babies could see would be a possible path, one that could be bent and winded into what you could be depending on what choices you make in life, good or bad....

I used to have de ja vou and then in my mind I would suddenly see a few seconds of what would happen right after that. Most of the time it happened, but three times, I changed it. It still happens now, but not as much.

I used to think, if you closed you eyes realy tight, that you could see flashes of you being born when you where coming out of the womb.
But I know now it was a fake thing xd

I do not think that thee "video" thingy is true but you can often see your future in your dream as i do, Am i the only one that can do this?
Back to thee point i do not think it is true but it might be. Who knows?

I don't think it's true. I believe that we have one or several goals in life, that our souls decide on before we are given form. By goal I mean something that our souls wish to experience and learn, as such I find myself thinking if we saw a 'video' of our life before birth, what would be the point of that life?
