Doing anything awesome while wearing a hat got you that activity's awesome factor + 2. I can't remember any specific examples though.

I want to see how awesome I am I have done so. I come out to about 16. xP DDR would probably have about 9. Voodoo Doughnut has at least a 15. Same with bean.
