I say the fight could go either way. They are both really strong individuals. surprised Gaara has a good defense with his sand and a strong attack. Sasuke has speed and attack. Sasuke could brake through Gaara's defense, and Gaara could catch Sasuke and kill him if he got close enough.

you people didn't see there fight?
spoiler:
gaara and sasuke fight because gaara,temari,and kankouro (sp?)
were running away.so sasuke went after them.Then sakura,naruto,shikamaru,and pakkun when after him.Sasuke got knock out by gaara.then gaara and naruto fought.it was a tie.

Gaara because when they did fight they both got worn out but it took both Sasuke and Naruto to get him to the poing where he cou'dnt fight anymore.
