rolleyes Ok, note the sarcasm. This thread is mainly about those thing's people say in a party...that you just know are gonna end up with dead people, or senario's that end up with dead people...
for instance, today during brd...
me: stop running up to the melee! monk..stop humping the whm! stay still so I can cast the right songs on you!
whm#1: but I wanna melee!
whm#2: ....you're gonna get killed..
cor: fishing!
and everyone died cause I couldn't get the right songs on the right people cause no one besides whm#2 stayed where they were supoosed to.

I was in a pt (valcrum dunes >.<) as pld. Party set was as follows, pld, rdm, whm, blm, war, drg. Not a bad party set up but then I forgot how much of noobs people can be. War was puller as he was trying to get some x-bow skill ups. Anyway on to the noobishness. I said i was going afk and so did the rdm, the whole pt said ok they would wait. When I get back the whm has no MP and I see a liz dead on the ground, that should have been my first clue to disband right then and there. All of a sudden I see the war say he was going to pull. Blm said pull the gobs at the fire and don't worry they don't link. Before I could say anything we have 4 gobs chaseing the war back to camp, again let me say the wmn had no MP and the rdm was still afk. Being the noble pld I was I typed, "You are all some serious dumbasses and kicked the rdm from the pt, changed leader and dropped it. I watched and laughed as the others died rather quickly.

Wow, lol. That actually reminded me when someone pulled something while I was afk... I am WHM... and we didn't have RDM... I barely got back in time to cure everyone.
EDIT:: But that was just one person. He got kicked out afterward...

Ok this tale is from the dunes. Im a party leader and we only need 1 member left to kepe our party going. I grab a PLD inLa Thain. After takeing 30min+ to get to camp we start. I notice that hes useing a Great Sword, no biggie ill ask him to switch.
Me >> Hey could switch to sword/shield to tank.
PLD >> No

omfg...went exp rdm in sky...and got the worst pt ever...whm spamed cure V, pld couldn't keep hate, and the war wouldn't stfu about me curing instead of enfeebling...hello...whm is outa mp and you just pulled..course I have to cure! just converted every freaking chain. after exp band wore left. funny how turds get to 75....

worst PT i was in, was in Garlaige Citadel, forgot what classes but when i got there everybody told me to pull me being a THF/WAR. so i agreed even tho i never pulled there before. we survided like 5fights then i asked if another person would pull for fear of me falling down a hole and for SATA preperation. so one member agreed and pulled but brought back a bettle 2 big bats and 4 trio bats!! needless to say we all died but thankfully a 70+RDM/BLM came by and resed the whole PT. but shortly after being res'ed another PT near by KO'ed and the mobs went after and still in our weaken state we all died quickly. after that i desided to HP back to jeuno and quit the PT.

I hate sky....idiots stole genbu from me while I was resting while my freind was kiting it. (rdm/nin duo, real fun) Anyways, he was at 20%...and this war and his ls come up, and crowd around genbu..and somehow...the mob goes from pink to purple in a mater of seconds. (I think it glitched or something) anyways...I cried. I wanted the pants.

The thing is I AM A BST, lol. If you do solo as BST you have no one to blame but yourself for a mistake that causes your death. I need not depend on others to kill NM's and the like but I can when i feel like killing the NM in a fast fashion, no matter how gimped or wrong your armor is you can still solo(there are actually some BST that solo naked from 1-70's eek ). And i have no need to wait for a PT just to find out that the PT is horrible.
Sadly my days of a BLM is somewhat far away from me now, but i have to say... it beats being in a pt for 10 seconds and finding out there is NO HEALER, the BLM doesn't know how to nuke slow enough to not get hate always(believe me there are so many BLM that just nuke nonstop until there MP goes down close to zero, even i know that after a spell has been casted on a mob that i should wait maybe around 5 or so seconds before a recast of another spell), or the tank doesn't know the meaning of it because they don't know what the skill provoke does >.>.
