Jason Schmidt takes the mound tonight against Greg Maddux as the Giants face the Dodgers in LA. Schmidt as a Giant is 9-4 with a 2.78 ERA vs. LA but is 0-2 with a 3.32 ERA against them in 3 starts this year. Greg Maddux is 10-11 with a 4.43 ERA this year and went six innings in his last start. GO GIANTS!!!

shoot! Giants lost 1-0 to the Dodgers in 10 innings despite a solid 8 shutout-inning 9 K performance by Jason Schmidt. Russell Martin hit the walk-off solo shot. mad

he´s the Giants´best hitter this year, along with Ray Durham. those two will be very sought after this winter, but hopefully they´ll return to SF.
