Oh, yeah! I heard about that! I must say, they're geniuses, all of them! Even the studio! Tim Burton was so ahead of his time when he made it, and now the best thing they could do was release it in theatres, let alone in 3D! Ooh...Danny as Jack Skellington in SURROUND SOUND... *falls over*

I'm very excited for this movie. x3 It's my obsession-- but I was barely born when it was released. xDD I'm praying that a theatre near me is 'select,' I'd die if it didn't come to a theatre near me. xP
(I don't mean to spoil everyone's fun...) I'll admit I'm a tiny bit skeptical about it though, because I loved the stop-motion animation the way it was... oh well. ^^;;
Too bad remakes can't get Oscar nominations (well, as far as I'm concerned)-- the original really deserved a few wins in my opinion.

Yeah, they're taking the same movie, just putting it INTO 3D. I'm so going to go see it.
In other, only slightly related news: On that webpage it said: Director: Henry Selick (James and the Giant Peach, Monkeybone, Coraline)
He's doing a Coraline movie! That book was amazing!

OH MY GOD. eek I've always thought that THAT BOOK deserved to be a movie. Is it going to be stop-motion? From the looks of the book, it really ought to be. That would be cool if Danny scored it...but that probably won't happen. Thomas Newman would be good for that though... wink ..Hey, you forgot Nightmare! He directed that too. sweatdrop

I'd kind of heard about this, but no real details. Unfortunately, the stupid trailer wouldn't load all the way, so I'm still very much in the dark. I have NO idea what's going on.. but I'll probably see it in theatres anyway. whee
