Tell me, how do you guys interpret the SasuSaku relationship? Is it something that is fluffy and loveable? (Excuse me for using that word) Or is it something serious?
How do you like to see SasuSaku? This doesn't necessarily have to be what's in canon. For example, you may like it fluffy when it isn't necessarily fluffy in canon. (Meaning, you can be influenced by fanfiction, fanart, etc).
Do you prefer your version of SasuSaku over what is portrayed in the manga/anime? Or is it the same version?
Do you think your version of SasuSaku is what keeps you liking SasuSaku?

I love the way the anime/manga portrays it. In a way, it is fluffy, in it's own way.
I think if it became canon it would be very light fluff, yet a smudge of angst. And I'd love that. biggrin

xD Nice topic.
Anyways, SasuSaku portrayed in the anime/manga is very angsty. There is little fluff, which to me would seem more like the NaruHina pairing. NaruHina or even NaruSaku seems a lot less serious than SasuSaku, because SasuSaku is DEEP.
Lets Say some examples...which will be in white because of spoilers.
NaruSaku: Naruto is constantly praising Sakura, and since later in Part one and throught Part 2, Sakura's relationship with Naruto has definitely become much greater than what it was as first. She picks on him, they talk and whatnot. They both have bright personalities, so their realtionship in turn is a bright one. The only thing close to angst about NaruSaku is during part 2 when Sakura states that she's worried about Naruto and he's a target for Akatsuki. Other than that, it's been a friendship in a positive direction, like the infamous "promise of a lifetime!" and the "we'll bring him back together" scene.
SasuSaku: Have we ever really seen much happy rainbow and butterfly scenes with these two? Not really. For example, the first big SasuSaku moment (to me) is when Sasuke "dies" during the Wave Country ark. It's great that he turns out to be alive, but in the first case, he was "dead," and Sakura cried for him. That's angst. Also, other big SasuSaku moments are like when Sakura visits Sasuke in the hospital, which isn't a good situation, or like in the "Thank You" scene. That is angst, people. Sasuke's leaving, and she confesses her love to him, and promises to do EVERYTHING for him. She even says that if she can't make him happy in Konoha, she would give up her own family and friends to go with HIM and help HIM with his revenge. She can't stop him from leaving; he tells her "Thank you." for everything she's done for him, and leaves, leaving her unconscious on a bench. That isn't really happy. o-o Also, during the reunion in Part 2, there wasn't any fluff moments for these two, either. Sakura attacks Sasuke, only to be blocked off by Yamato, and Sasuke procceeds to kick butt, and then just dissapears, leaving Sakura (and Naruto) alone once again.
So, the canon SasuSaku is angst. I really like it this way, too. However, I hope that in time (that is nearer to the ending of the series), SasuSasu will contain less angst and more fluff. If this is to happen, of course, Sasuke will need to end up in Konoha, and actually stay there (which I beleive will happen in time...hopefully.)
I'm really a sucker for angsty things that turn out fluffy/happy/okay in the end. xD Most people already know that I'm a happy ending fan. <3 So if SasuSaku becomes canon, I'm hoping that in time, it will slowly change from angst to not-angst.
I think how I'd like to see SasuSaku is a big part of what keeps me liking that pairing. Because there's been no fluff, and the series isn't up to that point yet, I'm always anxious to find out what will happen in the next Sasuke and Sakura encounter. For me, if something stays angsty for too long, I lose interest, and begin to dislike it, so since there is a change for a little fluff and a happy ending, and because of all the fluffy fandom out there, my love for SasuSaku is still very strong!

Both sasukescherryblossom and Iia said a lot of what I was thinking.
I LOVE angst. I'm such a sucker for it, really. SasuSaku can have a really angsty ending in the manga, and I would still love it. But if the series were to end with a 'fluffy' ending, I would love it just as much. I'm a huge fan of angst pairings with just a hint of fluff.
But to be honest, I don't think we'll be seeing any SasuSaku fluff for a while now. Not unless/until Sasuke returns to Konoha, at least.
Sasuke and Sakura's next encounter will undoubtedly be angsty, though I'm not complaining. [They better have more interaction with each other, too.]
And while I prefer their canon relationship over fandom, I must admit that there are some fan-fictions out there that make me wish the series would end up the way they do.

i prefer the verison in manga/anime cause i think my verison is like too sweet. no i think the moments in the manga/anime are what keeps me into sasusaku

Really, I like both, but I prefer the canon display of SasuSaku over my twisted vision.
I do admit however, what's kept be obsessed is the SasuSaku fandom (specifically, fanfiction and fanart).

It's so hard to choose; in my opinion, anyway. Seriously, I get so twisted sometimes, so it's really hard to tell the difference between my version *cough*crack*cough* and the canon version. In canon, yes, there is a lot of angst, but that keeps it ALIVE! xd Sakura's obviously "for" the cold-in-the-corner-glaring guys and Sasuke obviously needs a little ray of sunshine in his life, otherwise that kunai would be looking pretty friendly to him right about now. sweatdrop It's those moments when the two are practically depressed at each other that makes the whole relationship striving deal worth while. So, I guess the long and the short of it is, I prefer the angsty wangsty canon version because it's obviously gonna rock socks in the end.
I can't say I'm not worried, though. I destroy myself for days on end when a series comes to an inconclusive or super depressing end, and my standards for literally any manga are through the roof. Naruto had so better end perfectly! xd I don't want it to end, though. I wanna see that SasuSaku fluff break through in some miraculous but still logical way that I hope know Kishimoto's capable of!

Ooh, toughie.
I think it's pretty much angsty and serious in canon. It's utterly cry-able, in fact. There's so much conflict in their relationship, mostly on Sasuke's end, because he has a lot of skeletons in his closet. Sakura has been put there, I think, to help him sort out these skeletons (with Naruto, of course).
How do I like seeing SasuSaku? I don't really care, honestly - fluffy, angsty, crack (yes, I'm quite influenced by fanfics) - as long as it's not out of character, then I'd go for any SasuSaku you can throw at me.
It's not "my version", whatever it is, that keeps me liking SasuSaku. It's because of what it is in the manga - utterly cry-able with a sprinkling of bittersweetness somewhere. I like SasuSaku, I guess, because of the canon-ness of it all. I've never liked it just because of how fan writers or artists portray it (though it helps a lot in keeping the faith), I like it because it's SasuSaku.
Did that make sense?

If it wasn't for the canon version I wouldn't even like Naruto this MUCH. Yes, I have my own version, which doesn't happen in the real Naruto, though it's a possibility =) I don't get influence by fanfics or fanarts for Sasusaku for some reasons (weird), but I don't know.. I think I'm more on canon

I don't know. I mean.. I can't really being Sasuke to type to be all fluffy and everything. xD Not the way that you see him in the manga/anime at least.
But.. I can See it being a angsty kind of pairing. >> Of course.. I mean.. who knows how Sasuke will be after, (maybe) He kills Itachi. He might gradually start opening up, seeing as he knows that Itachi won't kill the ones he loves. Then I can see some fluff going on. xD

Kit luffs fluff and angst as well. Animè relationships with too much fluff and next to none or no angst at all get on my nerves, because it's so predictable. But realtionships like SasuSaku leave the viewer/reader with a lot to be desired. I like this. Cliffhangers are evil but rewarding, no? Bittersweet moments mixed with angst make the best animè couple recipe in Kit's opinion.
As the series progresses, and after Sasukè *hopefully* kills Itachi, I'm sure he'll open up, like Brittney-chan said. What I'd like to see is at the end of the entire series, Sasukè finally giving Sakura the hug instead of Sakura giving Sasukè the hug. Or I'd like to see them in a scene where they're walking together holding hands against a setting sun... *starry eyes*
I wouldn't go as far as a kiss though. xP Not just yet.
