XD Who here is addicted to Dance Dance Revolution?
Recently, I've been like, obsessed with it. I play at arcades all the time. I still play on Light and Standard, but I'm getting better.

DDR is fun though I suck at it. I don't have a PS2 either so the only DDR I can play outside of arcades is Mario Mix. XD;; Luckily I got it before it dissapeared and got all expensive and the like, but I heard it's back on shelves now. Go figure.

I just wish that I could play it somewhere besides the mall. >> I don't want all those peeps watching me. xd If you find a friend who's played before, and you both play on versus mode, it's not that bad.. even if you play on beginner. :3 Lucky for me, I practiced a little bit at home before I went out to the arcades to play. Still, I consider myself a beginner and when I play by myself, I feel like I suck a lot more than I do. KitsuneChan8888888 DDR is fun though I suck at it. Well, I really don't know anyone. o.o;; I'm homeschooled so that's really affected me as far as friends go. So I have no one to play with. ><

I've been addicted to DDR almost as long as yu-gi-oh! whee
I'm good, but not as good as I liked to be for I am a perfectionist and live in a town where even 11-year-olds can do heavy and the kids my age are completely pro. I'll be feeling all good about myself after passing a 9-step song, and then the guy after me will do a 12 step with knee-drops and back-flips. gonk Damn them!
I started playing at home about 3 years ago when my mom's boyfriend bought max. My favorite arcade version is 5th mix(mainly because I luff Maho & because it has the theme song to lupin the 3rd which is just freakin' pimp), and my favorite home version is extreme 2(two words: captain jack).
I rambled =o

One friend of mine knew so many people that she couldn't take a few steps down the hallway without saying 'hi' to someone. Gah, I'm lucky if I see one person I know in a day. XD

It's kind of weird... I'm quite shy in real life and quiet, I get made fun of a lot by annoying people, and I'm a tomboy and yet friends seem to gravitate towards me... Almost all my friends I currently have came on to me first or I was introduced to them through another friend. If people hadn't approached me, I probably wouldn't have any friends because I don't go out looking for them. And that sucks that you guys don't have real-life friends. It must get awfully boring. sad If it helps at all, which I doubt it does, I consider you guys friends, even if we've never met. ^^;; Oh, and sometimes it sucks having a lot of friends, because if there's a fight between two of them you're always stuck in the middle... that's happening right now and though I've taken a side in my head, I don't actually show that because I don't want to hurt feelings. gonk Ahem, sorry for the rant. Back to DDR. My favorite song? Move to Your Beat I think it's called. I hardly ever play DDR in arcades or on PS2s, but when I do I always try to pick that song. whee

yay! I think I know what song you mean! ...or I'm thinking of that stompin to the beat one.... well, I like most DDR songs so either way I probably agree with you!
I've only been here a short time, but you all seem too friendly to be shy! But I guess gaia can be pretty different. sweatdrop I think I act the same in both. I'm only outgoing if the people I'm around seem friendly or new or both. I move a lot so I won't have a lot of friends for the first year I'm in a new place, but once I find the nerdy anime-loving group I usually fit right in, and suddenly I know a bunch of kids from every grade-level. Just another reason I embrace my dorkiness in public places. Its really an effective method. XD
Anyway I consider you guys friends, if not friendly acquaintances, or my fellow ygo-obsessed allies. Whatever sounds better. 3nodding

I know its silly, but I get self-conscience even about my avatar. >.>; I'm afraid to approach people with really expsensive items unless I sort of know them!
Supernova is the new arcade version. I live by a boardwalk where there's 3 arcades so I finally get to keep track of new releases! We've got 2 extremes, in the groove, and now supernova! I didn't think I'd enjoy living in a tourist town, but it has its perks! whee
Anyway, supernova's system is really weird to me. Because ya now how you hold down the start button to get to the options menu for a song... well it doesn't work on this version, and now I don't know how to change the speed! All the arrows are too close together! I failed one of my favorite songs because I couldn't read it. ;_;
Plus a character is dancing in the background for every song, which I thought would be cool... but the dancing isn't silly and fun like it is on other versions... its like... hooker-dancing! Like the whole animation team just watched mtv for hours straight to see what the kids were doing these days.
I was certainly confused when I first played it to say the least...

@BK: I'm anti-social also. I used to hang out with people and try to make friends, but I got tired of it after a while. The only friends I made were the "fair weather" type people so I got sick of them. Then I went anti-social. I don't even sit with my family during reunions or gatherings. >> I guess I like to be by myself alot, but having friends would be nice also. sweatdrop
