In the past, before the whole egypt thing, Yami no Yuugi was just that, yuugis dark side.

Later on somehow, his character developed into Pharaoh Atemu, who saved the world by dying and trapping his and Zorcs soul into the puzzle.

So the question stands: Did you like him best back when he was Yami no Yuugi or as King Atemu?
I like Yami no Yuugi best. Then again, I heart psychotic people. :sweat:

Uhh...Thats kinda hard to think about, but if I'd have to choose (could I have both pwease?) I'd choose Pharaoh Atemu, sense he's been through a lot of stuff makin' him all wise and stuff. So yeah...

Pharaoh Atem...
The whole dark side of Yugi...yeah...he looked evil adn scared the crap outta me...I was like "EEPPPP!!!!" I didn't like Yami at all....But then after that serise ended and you jumped to Duelest Kingdom...I was like "I like this one sooooo much more"

Psychotic Yami creeped me out. And he still had a bit of his psychotic tendencies in Duelist Kingdom. Mind crushing people counts I think... namely Seto, Panik and probably a few others that I can't remember. What I wouldn't give for a penalty game against Panik... Yami could have used the fire to his advantage. *Coughs*
Anywho, I like the tamer version better. Around Battle City we saw that he got calmer, a teensy less tempermental but he does still have a temper. I just like Atemu better. Probably because he's taller and such. And not as psychotic as first series Yami.

Meh, I'd really rather not have to choose.
Both of them have their upsides and downsides(I'd be willing to take season zero Yami just for his japanese voice heart ). But I'd say Atemu is the one with less downsides and more upsides.
After all, mental stability is a big plus sweatdrop . That whole pentality game thing could go horribly wrong and then you would end up totally insane. But I suppose if you were totally insane, and he was insane you'd get along all the better, right? ^^
I dunno, I still don't think I could pick either way.

Well you can't blame yami in season zero...i think everyone would be a little crazy being stuck in a puzzle with endless doorways that lead to nothing for the past 3000 years...
And the shadow penalties i think were a bit much..
But i have to go with the yami when they started with DK...Dan green give yami the perfect voice...A plus to why i'm a yami fan...*sighs*

either one is fine with me! as long as there IS a Yami, i'm happy! I have to agree with Yugis-girl28, too. Dan Green does an awesome job on Yami's voice! Both the Yami personalities are fine with me! ^ ^
