ok, i know this sounds weird form a person who started reading HP in first grade, but i thought the fourth movie SUCKED. it was all focused on the triwzard tournament, and the only class scene they had wat Moody's. and it was just horrible!!1

i thought it was a good movie all around. the fourth book is centered around the triwizard tournament so they had to do a lot on that. as for the class scenes - the book was so long that they had to cut off a lot... the only problems i had of the movie were
1. They didnt show the actual Quidditch world cup.
2. They didnt have the old quidditch plaer ludo bagman.
3. Krum wasn't anything i thought he would be.
Yah, all these things have to do with quidditch (b/c i like sports). rather than that the movie was pretty cool.

Thank you for reminding me. After movies, I'm always quiet and thoughtful, thinking about it. After I had otten over that stage, I became a little frustrated. They didn't show thingsI had wanted!
1. I too wanted to see the Quidditch World Cup. WE WANT MORE QUIDDITCH!!
2. I didn't like that they didn't show some magical beasts, like the Sphinx (although I know that it was only mentioned once) and the Blast-Ended Skrewt (That was mentioned loads more!)
3. They didn't say anything about Hagrid and Madam Maxime, (except the small part at the Yule Ball) and they didn't show Ritas Article. That article was the thing that made Hagrid sad, the thing Hermione got angry, and why Hermione captured Rita!! (It's important to me to see details^^)
I could go on for ages, but right now I'm supposed to be doing something else sweatdrop *looks around sheepishly*

Well, as the movies go on, they're getting far more disappointing. Now, as movies go, they are very good, but as compared to the books, they are steadily degrading. I was looking foreward to seeing the World Cup too!!! And their representation of the Blast-ended Skrewts. You know, if they would just take a page from The Lord of the Rings's book and make a 4.5 hour movie, they could put in so much more!!!

I am sure if the could have had a 4 hour movie and it would still be seen and make loads of money they would have added those details but they just didn't have the time to add those senes. I would have like to see the Quidditch world cup and the rita thing was really important for the artical that goes in the Quibller(sp?).

C'mon everybody. It wasn't that bad. The World Cup wasn't that important, eccept for the stuff afterwards. And plus, there's more Quidditch in the 5th book.
The only thing that I really missed was S.P.E.W. I liked it when Hermione was all about the House Elves' rights. I thought it was cute.

I ABOLSUTELY DETEST the actor who plays Moody... he totally ruined the character for me.. Moody's one of my favorite characters in the book... but definitely not in the movies... *shakes head* OOTP had better be good. That was the best book in my opinion *nods*

Well, the movie was redeemed in my eyes, chiefly because of Fred and George. If there is any of them in a movie, it cheers me up instantly. :'D

Cho...i couldnt STAND her and Victor didnt look like how i imagined him either, soccerjoe. ANd they REALLY need to get another dumbledore!!! this one is just like..a hippie. i dont thave anything against them, but dumbledore is supposed to be wise and iginified,and not so flamboyaint.

The fifth book is a good hundred pages bigger, which definitionally means it will be even more butchered than the fourth movie was. Watch, I'll be they cut out the Harry-beating-Malfoy-to-a-pulp scene, and that'll totally piss me off. I missed spew too, I was hoping they would at least add that. And was I the only one who noticed that Barty jr was supposed to be blonde? I swear, the worst thing for the movies was when the original Dumbledore died. He was like totally awesome! Maybe they can get Jean Wilder... Probably not, though.

being a big harry potter fan id say the movie rocked.... but it did need to show more of the quittich cup and the death eaters scene. i mean i wouldnt mind it the movie was 4 or so hrs long.... id still watch it over and over again.
