The Maretin Desert is one of the most largest in Dranen. In fact it happens to be larger than the Mountain range itself. And the only thing within it are the small villages that are close to large oasis or rivers, and lots of sand.

Fargon laid in the hot sands, he was searching for someone. But he didn't know where to look. Looking ahead in the hot waves of the heat he thought he saw a figure...ere he did.
Sabrinth walked up to Fargon and greeted him. "You have been assigned a mission. However you do not have to agree to go."
"This mission, what does it have to do with me? And what of this place?"
"This place needs to be protected as well. But we are sending as large a group from this world as possible, to try and save it. But we will need protectors here as well to keep it safe."
"And where is this group?"
"At the City of Light. I will transport you there." There was a pause. "Perhaps the one you are searching for is there as well."
Fargon thought a moment. "Fine. I am ready."
A few minutes passed by and there was a flash of a bright redish color and he was gone. Sent to her sister Sara's temple. Sabrinth stood there awhile then left for the temple herself.

Fargon woke up with a start, "Oh no not again." He looked around, "Don't tell me it was another dream." Then there was a shimmer before him. A unipegasus approached him. "No Fargon, it was no dream. You had been sent from the destroyed world of Selt to the Higher Realms and told us of all you know. You remember everything but what had happened in the High Realms. That is because what we discuss is not for you to know, not yet anyway, but soon. Fargon looked at her, "Then where will I go and what will I do since I'm here and it would take eons to get to where my friends are?" "I shall take you to Dragon Fang Mt. and K'lant will give you an assingment. There is much going on in this world as it is. And the more there is to fight it the more we can defeat it and keep it from makeing a deal with Psiabel." She saw his confused look. "Have you heard the story's of Thell?" Fargon thought for awhile, then nodded. "He was sent to banishment in the underworld. What of it?" Sorrow crossed her features, "He has been brought back to this realm, not only in spirit, but as a whole." She saw the horror on her face, "You know the consiquences if he joins up with Psiabel and we should not let this happen. The other gods and myself are split up to figure out a way to take him out and keep Psiabel away long enough." She talked to him in mind, And that is our weakness. Without all the gods working as one... She did not finish. "Come we must go now." She came up and touched her horn to Fargons brow and they were teleported to Dragon Fang Mt.

The seven passed through the last of the forest and looked around, only barren lands and hot sands stood in front of them "First a forest and now a desert, what kind of world is this?" He clenched his and continued through the sands
"Looks like we could have used a map for this place..." Van followed behind Blade quietly as he looked around "Jade you are pretty well informed on worlds, any idea where a town might be?"
She brushed the sweaty hair from her face and looked up "No, but if we stay in this desert my skin's going to be dragon scales and as dry as them too" She waved her hands across her forehead and looked around "I never did like heat..."
"You are all whiney babies, I for one love the heat, afterall my is my element" He smirked and flicked his fingers with a small spark flicker "Well Jade if you do become as a dragon we can paint you jade and send yout o spy on dragons"
She growled and made a swipe at Ace with her nails "Keep it up, I'll strangle you with my whip" She turned around and stomped behind Van and Blade with rage in her eyes. The other slayers staying out of the conflict and following behind with silence

Adrianna's brilliantly blue body graced the air above the sandy earth below. Her wings beat every so often, pushing some cooler air below her. She craned her neck ever so slightly to let her ice blue eyes scan the surface of the earth.
"Remind me again why you insisted on coming to this foresaken land?" Adrianna inquired of her rider.
"I told you, because I heard of an old sand dragon that might know how to help me." The blond headed teenage looking girl on the dragon's back replied.
"Ah yes of course. Information you heard from some scruffy old begger who may never had even seen a bath let alone a sand dragon at all. I tell you, I have not heard of this so called 'old dragon' before myself and I have more years on that man." Adrianna replied to the girl.
"Oh hey! Look! I see something down there!" The girl shouted, pointing down at several figures walking through the sand below.
"Several it appears, Naomi. You wish me to fly lower so as to take a better look?" Adrianna suggested.
"Yes, please do."

"Night give us some shade, we'll set up camp here until they settle down" Blade sat down and blew some sand out of the way with his wind "I do not sense any dragons at the moment, we should be fine and even they do come, I'll slice them in half"
Night lowered her head as shadows came around them and blocked the heat of the sun. She stand down next to Moon and looked up at the sky
"Thank you, I was ready to grow claws and roar" She sighed and sat down, finally feeling the cool breeze in the summoned darkness, her skin feeling less dry and hot now "Where are we suppose to go from here, so far there's only been one weak dragon, I hardly call this adventure..."
"At least we can call it a vacation, I'm kind of tried fighting overgrown lizards anyway, so boring" He yawned and layed on the sand "Nice and warm, just like fire"

As Adrianna lowered from the sky it was appearant that a small group of, was it humans? Had just seated themselves and had shaded and for the most part sheilded them from any good vision the two above could get of the group.
"Who are they?" Naomi questioned.
"Your guess is as good as mine, dear. Let's let it go. They are definately not dragons and that is what we are looking for, your sand dragon." Adrianna replied.
"I suppose so." Naomi replied reluctantly as Adrianna let them lift higher in the air once again.

Adrianna soon flew over the small group in the sand and onward.
Naomi glanced down and backwards towards them as they passed.
"Adrianna, what if they have information on the Sand Dragon's where abouts?"
"Then it would probably be just as useful as the old man's." Adrianna remarked.
"But it's worth a shot. Please, go ahead and land. I'll go ask." Naomi insisted.
A loud snorting like sigh came from Adrianna, but she decended again and finally planted her feet on the ground. They hadn't gotten so far from the group that her massive size couldn't be seen, but not too close either.
Naomi slid off her back and onto the soft sand, sinking in it slightly. She approached the group steadily, until she was a few feet away. Though as it was now, it looked like a massive grouping of shadow was over them as well.

"I think you've got your wish Blade" Jade waved with her hand as she picked up the aura of two dragons and analyzed them within her mind "Both female and both don't seem too much a threat, do we even have to bother?"
Blade stood up from the sand and unsheathed one of his blades "I will cut down every dragon, for the revenge of my home, my friends, my family"
"You were not there Jade, what we saw would make you strike down even a helpless or young dragon pup" Van gripped the hilt of his greatsword and lifted it over his shoulder with a great thrust "They burned down our homes and devoured every last human thier snakish eyes could lay upon, until the village was ashes and blood"

Naomi still walked towards them. She found it difficult to see them in the shadow one of them created, but heard, or thought she heard the unsheathing of a blade. Her eyes narrowed in confusion.
"Hello? I'm not here to harm you." She said, just incase it was a sword unsheathing, not that she didn't have her hand on the hilt of her own to defend herself with.
Adrianna stayed where she was, though she could have easily decreased the distance as well. She didn't see a need to at the moment.

His blade gleamed for a second and swung swiftly "Stay back dragon!" The slice from his blade ripped through the air, breaking the current of wind ni front of it and feeding on it until it became large enough to act as its own blade
"A dragon coming to a slayer, isn't that a new one" He laughed alittle and slammed his blade down into the ground "Argh, the sand is broken from the ground, my element will not work here"
"Then let me turn up the heat, dragons do like it hot don't they" He laughed and pulled out a deck of cards "Let's play fifty-two pickup"
She looked at her wrist for a second adn covered it quiskly with her sleeves as she turned away "Handle this one yourself Blade"

Naomi saw the gleam from the blade and saw the air come at her like a blade. She withdrew her own sword and blocked the attack. Her own nodachi turning a slight red gleam from it's original steely cold metal look.
Dragon slayers?? She jumped back.
"Stop! I did nothing to you!" She shouted foolishly.
Adrianna's head perked slightly at the noise and looked over at Naomi infront of the group of humans. She turned and blew a cooler air just past Naomi towards the group with her own wing, letting out a loud roar as if in warning
Naomi's blond hair swayed slightly from her companion's attack and she placed the sword infront of her, taking a few more steps back.

"You...all of you took my life away, you took everything away from me!" His second blade apepared from a brust of wind and hovered into his free hand. The wind changed as he defended with his twin swords
So this is what happens when Blade finally releashes his anger, those dragons are in for a fight now He looked over at Jade and grabbed her wrist "Jade what's the matter, are you hiding something from us?"
"No, it's nothing" She moved her hand out of Van's grip and gripped it with her other hand tightly "Don't you have other things to worry about, like Blade going berserk, he won't be able to be stopped if we lose him in rage"
"Less work for me, besides I want to see our great mighty leader's true power"

"Took away..everything?" Naomi was confused by his words. She shook her head at them. "I did nothing!" She insisted, starting to think that she should have listened to Adrianna.
"Don't attack me, I will defend myself." She said more firm.
Adrianna took flight by now, sending another burst of air and sand from behind Naomi by her motion. With a few powerful thrusts of her wings, she closed the distance and came towards Naomi with her claw open. Her intention to avoid conflict altogether and take Naomi away as safetly as possible.

"Shut up" He jumped into the air and aimed his blades towards the two as he dived downwards "Don't waste your roaring cries on me, I won't listen to a dragon's lies ever again!"
