I love this series, they are now up to 7 volumes in the states. I just recently got the 7th volume too 3nodding whee
Even though I love the anime as well I rather like the stories presentation in the manga, as I have noticed a few things about the continuity of the anime that bug me a bit.

A lot of people prefer Tsubasa over HOLiC, but it's so much more interesting than Tsubasa in my mind. And that's why I prefer HOLiC.
Anyway, I own 1-7 as well, the series is getting much more interesting.
I haven't seen the anime yet, but I hope to see it someday...
By the way, is the anime series on dvd in America yet?

I haven't read it, but I've read tsubasa 1-9... I guess I should start reading xxxHOLIC, my friend has a few volumes...

I've read it, but i dont own it. Its very intresting and it is one of my three favorites.
I've never seen the anime, but i hope they dont butcher it like they did with Tsubasa.

But I will say I absolutely love the story in the manga, its continuity and better explenation of things. Such as the winged parasite believe she called it a ko, and it was either vol4 or 5. When the anime showed that story it was recalled as a fallen angel and never once did they show her change the one and comment on someone sending them. The anime is very well done, but some of the changes they've made annoy me a bit. Not as badly as when the US dubbs an anime, but I like how I now have a voice to go with the characters and the intro and ending songs are awesome.

Sorry But I disagree. I love Tsuabasa. I have read some of XXXholic but only because it crosses over with Tsuabasa. But XXXholic is pretty funny at times biggrin

I too think xXxHolic is better than Tsubasa. Its got more darkness(which I like) in it than Tsubasa.

I love them xxxholic and Tsubasa equally! Mostly because of the wonderful Kurogane for Tsubasa though...and all of the awesome costumes and such! heart
The manga is miles better than the anime in both counts, mainly because it's the original and the anime isn't as well drawn. stare
I've read all the way to chapter 132 I think it was for xxxholic off of the internet! Must love the people that scan them on! >_< I own in hard copy all the way to volume 7 too I think...Can you tell that I just love CLAMP in general? heart

Eh, I wouldn't say that it isn't as "serious".
But xxxHolic does have a different air to it than Tsubasa.
Of course, that's understandable considering that Holic was meant for an older age group.

I've read volume 1 of both Tsubasa and Holic, but sadly I didn't enjoy either.
If I *had* to choose one, it'd probably be Holic though.
