This year (I'm a smore), band camp is for two weeks strait, only sundays off, 8am to 8pm. GOD KILL ME NOW crying 8-12am = on the black top (the parking lot), 12-1pm=Lunch break (on campus), 1-5pm= Split Rehersal for show music (usually.....), 5-6=Dinner break, and 6-8pm= On the black top(today only fish had to stay 6-8, lol). Its so damn long and unberable. Its not even like "Damn thats long", its like "some kids can't can't even SLEEP that long!" But today, some of the saxophones (me included) snuck out, drove to the corner store and bought some drinks. It was like 102 degrees in the band hall today(broken AC). So yeah, thats my day. But we start drill tomorrow, so thats awsome. I bitched and wined so much last year, that they made me sound guy (that means I dont do drill, no spot on the field...yes...) so HAH, I get to sit down and turn nobs while everybody else dies out on the field. What do you guys do during band camp?

That's nothing.
First week of band camp is away at an actual camp. It goes from 7 to 10, with only an hour break in the afternoon.
Second week of band camp is at school. Goes from 8 to 8 with half an hour for lunch.

I totally love bandcamp, I don't mind how long it is. Though, it would be nice if our band director did give us a little more break time then we usually get. Especially water breaks...I hope our water isn't green again this year. xp

Kazumi Ishita I totally love bandcamp, I don't mind how long it is. Though, it would be nice if our band director did give us a little more break time then we usually get. Especially water breaks...I hope our water isn't green again this year. xp gross. today it looked like milk was coming out of the fountains. xp

Man, your band camp is rough! 8-8? For two weeks. Yeesh. What state are you in?
Last year was rough. We had three weeks of 8-5, monday through friday. This year is alot easier. Our first week was monday through friday, 9-5, then the second week was just monday, tuesday, 9-4, and next week is going to be monday through friday, 8-5. When school starts, we practice tuesday through thursday 3:30 to 6 every week, and every satruday. *death*
