07/21 - David Rosenthal reveals: [In the first six episodes], the repercussions from the end of last season will play out. That's something that is not going to just disappear. It's a major shift, a major change in everybody's lives. It affects not just Lorelai and Christopher and Luke, but Rory as well. There are a lot of consequences, and we fully intend to explore them — the positive and the negative. Rory's going to try to engage in a long-distance relationship. He's going to be in London; she's going to be in college. Obviously, it's a very challenging and difficult thing, and it's going to present obstacles for the two of them. But they're very much in love, so they're really going to work hard to make it work. He's very much on the show and very much a part of her life, but it's from thousands of miles away. There will be people in her life, male and female. Perhaps the return of characters from past seasons. Marty perhaps will be returning in her social circles, and perhaps some new friends who we have yet to meet. Again, not only did Logan graduate, but Colin and Finn, too. A lot of the people she spent a lot of time with over the season have moved on, so she has to find a new life for herself at Yale. April is a part of [Luke's] life. Luke is going to have some issues this year in terms of his deepening relationship with April and his relationship with Anna. There's a lot to get into there, and we will spend a great deal of time exploring that as well. [Lorelai and Christopher] certainly have to deal with what happened, and it is not a simple thing; it has far-reaching consequences. So, yeah... he's in the show a lot. He's going to be around a lot. I don't want to give away too much, but yeah, he's a major part of her life this year. Absolutely.

I say live on Rory and Marty!!!
Im going to have to punch some babies if Lorelai and Chris are together. Too long did i have to wait for Luke and Lorelai to get together, the last thing i want is for Chris to F*** it all up scream
Rory needs to give up on Logan and move on to Marty.
Luke better no do anything he will regret with Anna. He knows that Lorelai is the one for him and they BETTER get together.

Chris always screws things up.
If lorelai had a baby and it she didn't know if it was Luke or Chris's that would suck.
Rory need new friends that are better for her than Logans friends.
April deserves a dad but Luke need to balance his Life.
He has waited to long for Lorelai. If they broke she would have to move out of town. Hmmm... who knows!

Yeah. I really hope Logan and Rory stay together, but I do agree that Rory should make some new friends besides Logan's friends espicially since Logan is in London. I am so sad that this is going to be the last season...

OMG!!!! im so lost now...ive been watching the ones on fox family...just started with the ones on WB and im confused cuz fox family hasnt brought in hardly any new seasons!!! i need to cry...HEH!!
BUT...Logan and Rory need to stay together as well as Luke and Lor!!!

Remember that dream Lorelai had? The dream about her being married to Luke and Luke kissed her belly and hid the coffee? In that dream she has twins. The dream could be predicting the future. Lorelai and Luke are meant to be.

The dream could be predicting the future. Lorelai and Luke are meant to be. Oohhh wow that would be crazy amazing! When I read two babies my first thought was "Someone is going to have twins!". It would be twisted if Chris got Lore pregnant again. scream Tell that guy to use a condom already! But I could see Lorelai getting pregnant and not knowing if Luke or Chris is the daddy... scary thought. Scary, scary thought! I hope it doesn't happen. Lane is married now so pregnancy is a possibility for her. I have a feeling she wouldn't want a kid so soon after getting married though. I have a sinking feeling that Logan is the type of guy who couldn't remain faithful in a long distance relationship. Rory could, but I could also see her not wanting to be in that type of relationship to start with even though she'd try really hard at the beginning to make it work. She may end up getting really lonely and going to Marty for companionship. That could mess up her relationship with Logan, too. It would be an odd twist to see Rory on the 'unfaithful' end when it's more of something you expect from Logan. (( But I like Marty way better than Logan anyways. sweatdrop ))
