Someone gets powers what do they do? They abuse them. So here I will provide a controled environment where the staff of the guild and perhaps wondering moderators can abuse their powers by editing other people's posts to make them look stupid and such. twisted

You know, I have to say, it does loose some effect when you don't know what the original post was.
Maybe it should be policy to first quote the post you are about to edit (and post just the quote), and then actually edit it.
