I always have wondered why the Manga was shorter than the Anime. The Anime has like more stuff than the Manga so I would like to see your opinion.

Manga usually follow the anime to a certain point and then it tends to go off into a different direction. An example is, in the manga that person dies. But in the anime, they live.

yeah you are right but In the Champloo Manga When they read Fuu's "Diary"
She says she likes Mugen instead of Jiin.
Also In the resturaunt at the first episode Mugen just bends the fingers of the dude back when he is counting to 5
But I the Manga He Slices them off so I am Wondering WHADAFXUP

I adore the anime, but I love the manga, too. The anime animation got a LOT of praise (Sam Cham deserves it all), but somehow the manga still manages to be kick-a** in it's own right. I love it all. heart

It kind of depends with me...some storylines are different than the other...but with samurai champloo, im anime all the way
