oh wow real C+C. i'm a bit overwhelmed with the happies.
Spinelle
I'll start with the first one;
(commision for page boy)
The expression kills me, I love it, and the nose is flat, but it gives it so much character.
I can tell already that faces will be your strong point.
yeah this was really really quick
just hammering out without details
that was how i was drawing that week

-dies-
The shape of the face, with the lips & eyes.
I could'nt have asked for anything more.
EEven though the body's proportions with the arms, neck & shoulder arent right. It still looks beautiful.
& You shade like me, ahha. Which is funny in my books.
again this was just a quick sketch/study. i didnt polish it. just banged it out and did some blending stump (maybe my favorite tool)
shiina's breasts are naturally set a little low, although i wasn't using a reference. i know i need some work on foreshortening, though.

WATERCOLOR?
I can't do it, but you did awesome, the freckles almost look like black heads, but who cares, again the face shape is beautiful.
one of my first watercolors, actually.
upon closer look i see a lot of errors but i reallllly love the combination of layers of watercolor with sepia ink (what was used for the blackhead/freckles)

This one looks more realistic than the rest, so I can see your other types of styel, I really like the hair and the depth of the eyes.
Crayon?
good ol' crayolas. one of my favorite media actually. i like to draw more realistically with them for whatever reason.

(Pinup girl)
Who is NOT gonna love this?
The pose is perfect.
The breasticles (I hate every word for boobs so I'll make one up) Look perfect. Not gross and too big for her body size, but she looks like the pinup girl that someone would want as their girl next door.
I know I would.
this one caught me off-guard with how good it came. i was just doodling at work and then suddenly...this came out of my hand. i was reading about that bettie page movie at the time.

half an art trade)
It took me a while to understand it all 'cause theres just so much blue.
But I finally understood.
Amd I REALLY really love the design that everything seems to be colored like.
again, this is just how i was drawing for that week. lots of embellishments and lines. i was wicked happy with this though, have to say.

The hair, glasses & scarf are by far my favorite part in this picture, which is surprise because usually Im mesmerorized by the outline of it alland how you chose to end the picture, without a clean line.
i like..the cast-down look of the face. it really doesn't match mina's personality. she's kinda brash and you know awesome. once again, i wasnt really trying for great, but it just popped out of my hand.

I love, love love loveee the coloring of this one, the green just looks awesome.
And for some reason no matter what I do, when I see this the only thing I can really think about is that it reminds me of Mark Ryden's paintings.
If you don't know who he is.
jan's got some neat charas. once again i really took the stump to that background. i like it. eyes draw you kinda huh.
but yeah. thanks so bunches. i'm adding you to my friends list.
