We've all played video games from the wee hours of the morning to the long hours of the night, but how long have you truly played? Some of us will say a lot and others will say very little, but how many hours have you spent on just one game?
I know that a lot of games show you how long you have been playing, like the FF and KOTOR series, others don't but try and ballpark it. I want you to post as many games as you want, then tell us how many hours you've been playing it.
If you want, you can tell us why you played that game for so long. I know I'll have to explain why in an attempt to keep what shreds of dignity I have left sweatdrop .

GTA: San Andreas (Xbox)
I've played over a total of +120 hours. I've been trying to reach 100% in the game but it's incredibly hard and has caused many broken controllers. Well not really, but now it's more of a challenge then a game.
POP: Sands of Time (Game Cube)
This game was pretty easy, aside from all of the puzzles, I'd say about 14 hours. It was a lot of fun so I bought the other two, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones.
Resident Evil 4 (PS2)
This has to be the greatest game I've ever played. At first I was skeptical but I quickly realized how much of an improvement it was to the series. This game took me longer than I originally wanted, mostly because I was too scared to continue at some parts. Like the regenerators, they are the things of nightmares.

Dynasty Warriors 4 and Samurai Warriors: A total of 36 days. (Adding hours) It's not really a game you can defeat. You just play it over and over again.
Kingdom Hearts II I rented it for 5 days and only made brief pauses to drink/eat and sleep. I would begin at 8 a.m. and stop around 1 a.m.
Final Fantasy X-2 A week the first time, 2 weeks the second, 2 weeks and 1 day the third.
Soul Calibur III I play it every now and then, but not alot.
Kingdom of Paradise (For PSP) A week.

There aren't many games that I play that excessivly. Oblivion however is one. In the week after I isnstalled it, I clocked 80 hours of play (there was no work on that week), in susequent weeks I've been clocking about 20 hours a week. So I guess the current total is about 240 hours, and still playing. This is what happens when you try to do something stupid, like beat the game on Lv 1.

Back when an old friend had a Saturn but no memory card, I'd get there around 9am & play such as Tomb Raider & Panzer Dragoon Saga solidly 'til 8 or 9pm. Good times, good times. With everything in storage I have no idea about hours spent on other games. Dx

I woke up one morning and turned on my Xbox.
I was deleting some old game files when one of my games displayed +140,000. I looked it up and apparently I triggered some sort of glitch when I saved.
I was going to crap myself.

Off the top of my head I can only remember the amount of hours I have in my first Tales of Symphonia file. It's a little over 100 hours. I technically beat the game at around 60 hours, but there were so many side-quests and little extra things to go for. ^^

I've got about 350 hours on Oblivion IV: The Elder Scrolls. Not just ONE character though, I've had three.
I've probably had about 40 hours of Counter-Strike (Source & regular) in total thanks to LAN gaming. More will be added today since I have a LAN starting in 2 hours.
I've probably got loads on Warcraft III Frozen Throne too. I don't really keep track of how much I put into games unless it's affecting me badly.

Just on a side note; would you say you're good at it?
