UPDATED:Added Page skill build.

The Maple Story Guilds Official Page guide
Written by Ozean-Konigin(Rainheit)

Note:: This guide will only cover levels 50 and lower for now as I am only level 45>_>

The Page
First thing you should know, the Page is a mainly solo training class in second job. It takes great patience to train a Page and is very rewarding in third job. The Page is the defensive warrior class unlike fighters and spearmen. Their defense skills include Power Guard and Threaten. Also Pages get no hp boost when making the advancement to Page but do get 100-200 extra MP.

The good and bad of the Page

Good:

1. If you make it to 3rd job you shall be one of the few and proud, as well as earn respect from many people
2. Pages end up spending less on pots because of their defense skills
3. In third job you gain the powers of BOTH wizard class(fire and ice/lightening) in other words you become a mage/warrior hybrid
4. White Knights (3rd job of Page) can solo more effectively then most other 3rd job classes due to defensive skills and the ability to freeze using ice charge.
5. The damage of a Page is BY FAR more stable then Crusader and Dragon Knight

Bad:

1. No party skills=slower training due to the fact most will choose spearmen or fighters over you in parties, this is due the fact that Ludi PQ is generally the fastest way to level between 40-50 ( this varies between servers however, more crowded server=less chance of getting into a PQ)
2. Pages do the least damage out of the warrior classes during the second job, defensive skills however make up for this by making training less costly.
3. Expect a few “lol nub, why u go Page? Page sux, fighter/spearmen pwn!!1!!!” from idiots

Weapon choice
Blunt or swords?

Swords:

Good:
1. Fast attack stable damage
2. Easy to find someone selling
3. Many higher level swords are sexy as hell>_>

Bad:
1. Expensive
2. Scrolls can cost a lot

Blunt Weapons:

Good

1. Fast and great maximum damage.
2. FAR cheaper then swords
3. Scrolls cost FAR less
4. Some blunt weapons are sexy>_>

Bad:
1. Can be annoyingly hard to find people selling high level blunt weapons
2. Scrolls can also be hard to find
3. Very low minimum damage results in unstable damage

Should I go 2-handed or 1-handed?

1-handed:

Good:
1. Fast attack speed and cheaper then 2-handed
2. Can equip a shield
3. Some 1-handed swords look awesome
4. cheaper scrolls

Bad:
1. Shorter range then 2-handed
2. Less powerful then 2-handed

2-handed:

Good:
1. Stronger then 1-handed
2. Farther range( not by much bet eh)
3. Easier to find sellers

Bad:
1. Slower then 1-handed ( can be solved with booster)
2. Far more expensive
3. scrolls are a great deal more for 2-handed then 1-handed

Skill builds for warrior (coming soon!)

Skill Build for Page(first skill to work on is at top, along with the amount of points that should be in it next to,before moving to the next skill

Mastery+19(ONLY 1 mastery and ONLY 19 points,do not max)
Booster+6
Final Attack+30
Threaten+3(in order to work on power gaurd)
Power Guard+30
Threaten+17
Booster+Everything else

NOTE:In the end you should have 1 point remaiing(or so other pages say)just throw that remaining point into mastery if you want to a 1st job skill, also if you find yourself running low on cash, you can get 3 into threaten early and start working on power guard while maxing FA.

Training from levels 1-70 (incomplete!)

1-10: Stay on Maple island killing snails, blue snails and pretty much anything that spawns there (I suggest you stay away from Orange Mushrooms for now however unless needed for a quest)

10-20: Ah, You’ve talked to Black bull and now you’re a big bad warrior? Think you can take down anything now? Haha…..WRONG!!!! Stick with blue/red snails, slimes, or orange mushrooms at about 15-20.

20-30:
Kerning PQ ( shouldn’t be tried till 25-30) Pig’s at pig beach ( not recommended if your server is crowded) ,Green Mushrooms, Horned Mushrooms in late 20s, dark axe stumps and dark stumps ( not really recommended but it gets the job done)

30-40: Now you’ve joined the ranks of the few but proud Page, and your reward? Wild boars for 10 levels!!! Sounds fun eh? You could also try Jr.Cellions, Jr Grupins or Jr Lioners (Jr Kitties) in Orbis from level 35-40.

40-50: Ludi PQ is the best (unless you’re in a server like Scania, if that’s the case it’s more of an alternative to training) , Lorangs in the hidden street Lorang Lorang Lorang are also good, perfect slash blast mobs, also some decent drops. Jr Kitties are also good for the early 40s, you could also try block golems on floor 8 of Eos tower in Ludi, chronos are also a choice but they’re kind of…eh, bad spawn in my opinion with to much running, jumping and climbing. They do however drop a mage only shield that can fetch a good price. At 45+ you could also try copper drakes. Also plateons might not be a bad choice either.

Well this is where my guide ends for now, any help would also be appreciated. Also I hope this will encourage others to write guides for other classes as well.

Well, since our friend quit. I guess I'll try to help with my experience as a page on MS.

Add on for training spots(global):

51-60: I highly recomend Omega sector hidden street Barnard field. With the 3 Cheif Grey spawns and endless barnards. With each chief that give 500+ exp you can get an easy 1500+ exp in a short time. Even more if you surf the channels for cheifs. At lv 54+ going for jr. yetis and pepes

60-70 i went on coolies.

If you put a few points in ice to start yourself off, you should train on red drakes.

Other wise yetis are a good spot for your fire charge.

And in the original post, it says the pros and cons of swords. I have to disagree.

Swords: Faster, BETTER average.
BW: Cheaper, novelty.

and 1h just sucks in general.
