Ummmm .... I hope no one minds, but I'm cuttin' and pastin'!!! (don't wanna type it all again!!!)

Anyway, here it is:

'k. My turn. I was raised in a hellhole of a home, to say the least. I was a victim of gang rapes (by relatives and 'friends'), beaten, and abused in every way possible. By 7th grade, I spent the entire year fantasizing about suicide. That was all I thought about. By the end of school, I realized that I didn't have the 'guts' (so I thought then) to kill myself.

I had spent years standing at my window at night crying to the heavens - God, do you even exist? Do you even know who I am? And got no answer. At the end of that school year, I started crying literally for hours and hours every night, begging that if there were a God, that He would just kill me and get it over with because I couldn't take any more, and I couldn't do it myself.

I cried like that for an entire month. At the end of that month, I gave up and started to sink into a black, hopeless depression. A girl who lived 3 houses down from me started asking me over and telling me about Jesus. We argued about him all summer. I was catholic and kept telling her: 'my church doesn't believe that', and finally 2 weeks before 8th grade she asked me one day 'Do you want to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour?'

I had ABSOLUTELY no idea what she was talking about! But I said yes, and as I said the prayer, the trees parted up at the top and a huge beam of sunlight hit me at the exact time I felt completley EXPLODED with love for the first time ever. I felt like I floated home 8 feet up in the air. When I got there, my mom took one look at my face and said, 'What the hell happened to you?' I said, 'nothing' and went to my room and laid down and for HOURS, I felt this wave of love flow over me from my head to my toes and repeat over and over.

Life has not been easy since then, but my God is able, He comforts me, loves me, helps me to love others, and always, ALWAYS brings me through. He IS the KING OF KINGS!!!

I completely agree your testimony can be so powerful that anybody take something from it.
