Who's the greatest player ever?

Willie Mays is the greatest baseball player of all time; he could hit for power, batting avg, he was a fast baserunner and base-stealer, he played great defense in center field, and he was a wonderful teammate and a nice guy. he played the game cleanly and fairly, and even though he doesn't own a record, he is in the top in almost every category.

yeah babe ruth, hank aaron and willie mays are like way better then the hall of fame. the should make a great city of fame for them not just a hall.

ummm Babe Ruth started as a Red-sock the team traded him to the Yankees.

Yeah. Actually, he was sold to the Yankees so then-manager Harry Frazee could finance a Broadway play. (I know my Red Sox history.)

Babe Ruth was technicaly the best. I think if he drank more beer he could have done alot better. He diddn't need Gatorade or water, beer was his fuel. The baseball officials forced him to limit his drinking and I think that slowed him down even though he was still one of the the best of his time. 3nodding rofl Yes he drank alot of beer, but more beer would have made him shoot up the record books even more 3nodding lol
