Okay. I am slightly obsessed with dragons.... burning_eyes I don't know that you really wanted to know that....
*pinches herself* ok, to get to the point, I want to know everything about dragons. How to 'summon', talk to, view, anything and everything about dragons. I anyone has any advice, links, or documents PLEASE post them.
The only thing you are not allowed to post is saying that i am crazy.
I already know that.

hmm...
i remember reading a ritual about dancing with dragons once.. but it was very wiccan.
i think you had a staff and a sword, you invoked the elements with the pentacle, and call dragons of a specific element to you, and have a party

It's definitely a very powerful summoning magic, I believe wink Not beginner level. Summoning spirits is hard enough, but summoning a dragon is pulling a spirit which doesn't belong in this world ninja Also they're quite powerful spirits, I believe.

From my experiences, it seems that the...'reptilian' creature that is the dragon of mythology doesn't necessarily differ 100% from the creature's we're talking about here.
I know of two different types of entities which one might label the 'Dragon'.
One is some sort of 'Guardian' entity deep, deep, deep in the Supra-Astral.
The other is a race of entities that live on the Earth, half shifted into one dimension, half remaining in this one. They have been nick named the 'Reptilians' and would appear to the naked eye as Tubular, spiraled, or Snake like beings with vastly different physical structures then a...a....A 'Surface' based organism.
Apparently these entities are very big in Thailand, China and possibly connect with the medieval dragons of legend.
These entities do not like Humans at all, they feel we have trashed the Earth and are undeserving of remaining its inhabitants. I do not feel these are 'evil' entities, but that they are very straight foreword.

Actually, I have had an experience with a dragon/dragon spirit. Two of them, in fact.

yeah. this is basically what my friends say in much lighter terms. Most of them say that "if you're not part of the cause, they have no reason to hate you" and one of my friends also works with dragons a lot, i'll put in a special request to him if you'd like.

There is a reason why these summons are quite difficult... Dragon spirits were things of legend and held to the utmost respect. They are incredibly powerful, in order to summon something so powerful, equal or greater power is required or else your hold during the summon will be snapped like a withered fishing line being used on deep sea fish. I have had my fair share of study in the Draconic world and what most of you guys have said is true. But on Earth, there are western and eastern dragons... the Western dragons were the type you'd see in some Rennaisance or Medieval age book or drawing... The Eastern dragons are the long slithering snake looking kinds that you see in oriental festivals today and see in ancient drawings and transcripts... There are a few who claim to have seen the realm where dragons stay and say they know the language of dragons... Though I have not met any myself.

never heard about summoning dragons before, I have a couple of dragon-kin friends whom are really nice although you cannot entrust info on a otherkin since they could be simply making it up or they couldn't be, its all a fact of choice.

Well, there's a whole book on dragon magick, Dancing with Dragons, which can be quite helpful with this. It is kinda Wiccan, but that's what adaptation is for, right?
Anyway, one major thing is that you need to have the right attitude to work with them. You can't fear them, or they'll pretty much ignore you. You can't try to command or summon them, or they'll see you as an egocentric @$$ and ignore you. Taking the buddy-buddy approach is also not a good idea, considering that it usually just masks ulterior motives, and it's annoying.
What they want is a respect, an equal relationship with no ulterior wishes and no facades, and that can be often difficult to provide. Once you start in it, though, it should come easier as you get to know them and such. ^_^

Thanks. I believe that iam dragon otherkin, but i have not awakened >.>
Like i said before, i have had two experiences with dragon spirits. One of which i was dreaming of a draogn who was sitting on my chest speaking to me. When i suddenly woke up, a pressure was released on my chest, as if something sitting there had gotten up. O.o
The other one i was dreaming about a draogn, who turned into a monster. There were the fires of hell and everything o.O when i started to wake up,, I got the feeling like something was biting my neck gonk that was not cool.

Summoning a dragon isn't like summoning a spirit. Dragon's are physical beings who move on a physical plane of existance. As far as I know they aren't the intellectual beings like they're portrayed as in certain movies. They are wild animals. According to a metaphysical beleif, there are 15 planes of existance. Our Earth in smack dab in the middle. If you go down two planes, there is a world that runs parralel with ours. That is the world with all of the mythical creatures in it. At certain points in history (The old testament, the dark ages) the "veil" between our world and theirs becomes exceptionally thin and weakens. So the dragons and stuff come through. Some like it, others go back, still others get stuck. They breed and start populating. Unfortuanetly (if the stories have any accuracy) Dragons were pretty much anialated during midevil times. So if you were to summon a dragon it would have to be from across two planes of existance. Then, if that works, you have to put up with a giant fire breathing lizard in your house. Be careful what you wish for.
