I just came back from a five day vacation from DisneyWorld in Florida. So, I noticed alot of people were from China and Hong Kong...It was neat...We met two girls and one guy that worked there. The two girls came from Hong Kong. Now, I was wondering, since Hong Kong has a DisneyLand now, why do you think they come to the US to work?
There were alot of Chinese speakers. o.O Especially Cantonese. Like the first one, when we went to visit the Magic Kingdom on the first day, we had to get our tickets.
Server: Okay, may I have your card please?
Dad: -Gives card-
Server: Your last name?
Dad: L-A-M
Server: -Grins and starts speaking Manderin-
Me: I wonder if she knows Cantonese...probably not.'
Server: AY! I know Cantonese too! -Spoken in Cantonese-
The next one was at a resturaunt in Magic Kingdom.
I even chat with her on MSN now. o.O My mom even has her number.
Finally I was like, how they're all girls? Where'd they guys go?
The third day at Disney MGM, we went to see an Indiana Jones stuntshow. Now, there are these people telling us to sit and scoot right? So, when I saw a seat, I asked my dad, 'Are we allowed to sit there' Now, instead of my dad replying, it was the guy that worked there who said, "No, but you can sit over there." In Cantonese! And it was a guy this time.
Really. I was an amazing Vacation.

Where I wanna hold you tight…
Maybe they think working in America will make their life easier? My second guess is that since there's a big presence of people of different nationalities and propably most of them doesn't know English, the owner of Disneyland wants more workers from other nationalities to help those in need of "language help".
My last name? Do. >>; It's Vietnamese, by the way.
