im basicly making this to give people a place to talk about the games, give advice and such

ps. i love this guild

My sister got the first game for her birthday last year... and now we're both pretty hooked. n_n;

It's been impossible for us to find a copy of the second one, however... >_<;;

best place ive found is gamestop, the one here has 4 of them last time i checked, new and used heart

just beat number one ^^ gah that boss was hard, i wonder if gamestop is still open... whee i need to play the rest of them now ^^

((edit))nope, closed looks like ill just have to play arround on this one ^^;

but that blade has -19 physical accuracy crying i would rather use hells gate. and i killed it and got that last gob ^^ the gob was hardder in my oppinion i killed the dragon with ease

i got him data drained in my first go at him, but i died shortly after, then elk died, and black rose decided to fight him solo... without reviving either elk or i so game over

edit- the blades have -15 physical accuracy

the gob im talking about is the last of the 4 king gobs, that run arround without attacking you, and when you get close enough to them you attack and eventually they die

and im getting mutation tomorrow i think, in my opinion i have the three best daggers in the game Dante's Blades, Hyakkidouran ((the ones from the dragon)) and Hell's Gate so i think ill do fine in mutation, and im level 32 or 33 right now sweatdrop

my favorite and most widely team is just a basic outline like this:
-Kite (self-explanatory razz )
-Heavy Attacker
-Healer

For outbreak I usually had my Heavy Attacker either be Balmung or BlackRose (others were...just eh to me ^^;; ). And for Healer, I had to switch between Elk and Mistral...either or was fine and I liked both ^^

So my suggestion is probably stick with BlackRose in the beginning, but as you get up to those higher levels you may want to start out trying with Balmung since Blademasters are more valuable later on.

And if you follow my plan, keep a wavemaster no matter what. I mean...unless you can't for any reason, then you need to play the role as the healer.

When you battle, go and have your heavy attacker out in-front and your Healer out in back. Use commands, usually just put your wavemaster on auto-heal and switch back. And you should try and attack, but also look at your healers SP, it gets low sometimes so remember to bring good amounts of various Potions.

Also, best way of defeating enemy is having an item (of Kite's) that has a twinblade spell that deals every elemental damage. This way, you can switch between blades and deal the the most amount of damage by abusing the elements.

If you do all this correctly, you should be more then fine. This method has been proven countless times, as I was able to get through mutation without dieing once, outbreak and infection I had small trouble. And it was near ease for Quarentine. (If I knew about this method in infection it might have been 10x easier for me ^^;; ).

Lastly, the best advice to give is ALWAYS stock up on potions. Sell as much useless stuff as you get from the various dungeons and just use it on potions (honestly, don't worry about buying weapons unless you need them...since you can get many different weapons in all the dungeons you'll go through).

So ya...my method of playing. Hope this helps in any way possible. Also, remember that when you go through the game, the amount a character levels up with you and by there self is very small...so don't worry about trying to help and "level a character..." since you could just as easily play with a different one and still have the other be leveling up at the same time...

heh, for Ryoko... I'd rather take along a wavemaster, or not her quest at all (since I didn't bother with her till quarentine......since I wanted to do a funny mission with her and black rose.... but this also meant I was more then high enough level to kill the monsters in her quest with ease).

Umm... now for weapons, I don't know what weapons for you to choose... just try and get a wide variety of weapons with various elemental skills (the more the better...). Don't worry to much about the level of the weapon...Also, get a weapon that can put your enemies to sleep (can't remember the spell)...but that is the single best skill in the game, and made quarentine for me 10x easier (since I never realized until the 4th game how powerful that skill was).

I also don't find accuracy to be that big a deal when looking for a good weapon. Rather, I look at all the stats in general and see where it's best and where it's not.

Also, get a couple of different armor and such that gives you different ranged spells. Since, sometimes enemies are to dangerous for a twinblade to stay in front, you can abuse the elemental disadvantage and still deal an okay attack. (however... wavemasters do much better damage...so if you see your attacks not working that well, switch from attacking to healing and have your wavemaster do the attacking...since they can deal some serious damage because of there higher level spells.)
