I've found it helps, too. 3nodding I also turned off my inner ear, but it's so hot here that I'm not sure if it helped at all... *falls off chair due to lack of balance*

Then apologies are in order. I didn't even realize it could be taken like that, I was just saying that there lay a difference between mine and hers, if it sounded rude, that's just the way my speech is sometimes. I tend to think more old english, so I guess at times I sound a little haughty when all I'm doing is overindulging myself on british humor. CURSE THEE, MONTGOMERY PYTHON!!
