~Alice Games Semi-Official Discussion Thread~ This thread is wildly under construction. You can interpret that how you want. ninja
When it is set up, it ought to have a bunch of noteworthy links leading to info on the American McGee's Alice computer game, the preview, some walkthroughs, screenshots, etc. It might even have some original information of its own! But we'll have to see about that.
Also, other Alice-related game for computers or other consoles are open for discussion here! I mean, you could even chat about board games! You could make a separate thread for that, though, if you want, since most people here will be thinkin about the American McGee game. I think.
Anyways, rando-chat on the game is welcome here! You can ask for help when stuck on a level, or request pics of a certain level, or streak naked through the thread... Whichever one suits your fancy.
Anyhow, feel free to post! Hopefully, this intro will be updated for more content soon. stressed

Here! The following link should lead to an immediate download... Scan it with an AntiVirus thing before opening, though, 'cos you never know with online download. 3nodding http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_download.asp?fid=7965&fileidx=1#Hopefully, all will go well. Enjoy! Oh, and btw, if you do download, know that pressing Alt uses an Alternate Attack. It took me forever to figure that out. For example, a normal attack with a knife is slashing. An Alternate Attack is throwing the knife. eek

I remember that I was so obsessed with that game. In May or so I convinced my dad to let me buy it off EBay, but I felt VERY weird about it. Its sitting in some drawer in my house now, and I never opened it.
In a way I guess I wanted it mostly because it was something that was "to old" for me. Even playing the demo creeped me out and gave me chills. In the end I realized I the type of person who enjoys bright things more I guess. I'll take Comedy over Horror any day! mrgreen
(Wow... that was so pointless.. xd )

The game was so hard. Then again, I'm not much of a gamer. Hand eye coordination =/= Functional.
The hacking options really helped. It was fun to skip that awful steaming floating thing and smite all of the last levels with the Blunderbuss. On God mode.
Yup, I know that's a terrible way to play. xd
The first time I played it creeped me out like hell. "HO GEEBUS, IT'S A CARD! *Heart failure, manages to stab to death with only a tiny bit of health remaining* I rule. cool "
Did anybody like the Skool levels? The flying books and glowy star ceiling were great.

Funnily enough, one of my fave things in Skool was the music. blaugh But a big reason I like the game is for the prettyful settings. *pets computer screen* Pre-tty...
@Nothlen: The blood and gore also annoys me a bit, so I just focus on the prettiness instead. *blink*
@Swee: I love god-moding a game! For me, the fun part is exploring the level and stuff like that. That's why I like the first Harry Potter game so much. sweatdrop They left ALL the programming codes in it, so you can pretty much apparate and jump to any point in the level and explore place that are meant to be scenery and stuff... It is fun. ^^

I dunno, I think I'd have found it by now if there was... Maybe I'm not looking in the right places? I DO know, though, that, technically, Walmart ought to stock it. I'm not sure if they'd still have it by now, though. *shrug*
