yes, this is green day related. if you think its off topic, well.... i dont know how to move it.
ok, my friend said something about a song called "closing time" and said it was by green day. i had never heard the song, so i looked it up on GDA, and couldnt find it, so i told him its not one of their songs. he said it was, cuase its on his cell phone and psp. well, today i heard the song on the radio. it said "closing time" by Semisonic. now another one of my friends is saying its a grren day song too. he even found lyrics. and he says it was originally by green day. i dont like being outnumbered like that. even when those two people hate each other. (so i know they arent ganging up on me or anything)
someone please take my side! all my friends know im obsessed with green day, so theres no way i could be wrong! crying

someone please take my side! all my friends know im obsessed with green day, so theres no way i could be wrong! crying ok at seeing this i looked it up and many websights have them and/or Semisonic as doing it but almost everyone who has commented on it says no it is a mix up and wrong and Green Day never did it. also i own every Green Day cd other than the inport ones and it is not on any of them. it is though done by Semisonic and from my looking up and what I know Green Day never covered it or anything like that and they did not do it first. i think you friends are mixed up.

Green Day did not do Closing Time. I don't think they even covered it. I think I know why your ******** friends think it is Green Day though. You can download a song called "Closing Time" that comes up with the artist as Green Day, but it actually isn't. I know because I downloaded it 'cause I thought it was a cover and it wasn't even that.

For some reason a lot of people confuse that song as Green Day. I've heard it in several completely separate places... it's really weird. It doesn't sound anything like Billie Joe's vocals at all... scream .
