the original phantom was supposed to be really ugly..... but the movie phantom was freakin' hot!!!! and you know, crazy...... but i must confess he is very attractive.

I read the book, and he was just...*shudders in disgust* Very ugly and VERY creepy. I like movie Phantom better. Still creepy, but a lot hotter.

Hm...I don't know if he's "hot" or not. He's just kinda insane.
But I wonder what happened to him in the end? Weird how he was still alive after all those years. I think the movie was made so that it made everyone like Erik and hate Raoul.

I've only seen the 2004 version of Phantom of the Opera and I loved it. I never knew Emmy Rossum could sing at all =O

I think they record the voices and songs then the editing people put the songs into the movie. That way with all the dancing and stuff they still sound good, plus the voices could be tweaked to sound better.

They probably re-recoded most of the movie in a studio, anyway. They couldn't get that good of a sound on set.

But it is her singing. They just needed the sound quality that they would get in a studio.
