Sounds cool but maybe have kameo's of our old characters some how worked into the picture as well (I'll be submitting a few rough sketches on my new character as soon as I finish him) because essentially they are part of SF's history. That's just one of my ideas. Probably would be too challenging a picture, unless you want to spend 8764890763+ hours on it..

I've already done some sketches, but it's hard to get to a scanner these days. he doesn't really look a whole lot like my avatar, but close. If you've ever seen Paul Kidby's art on Discworld wizards, it's sort of along those lines...
I'd be willing to buy the art we don't have time to make ourselves?

I'm drawing my new character as we speak. I'm not doing much this summer, I'm pretty sure I'll have time.
And damn it's been a while since I've seen Discworld. Can you take a photo of it at least?

I have nothing. If you've ever seen the art of discworld, that book, and looked up the bursar, it's basically his robes. But then, different. I'll work on getting my profile sketches to a scanner, k? Failing all else, I'd go with a cross between my avatar and this.

What we could do is a picture of all of the new characters standing their and just looking generally badass, but in the background drawn in shadows or like mist behind them have the old characters and line it up so that behind each new character the old character is their shadow or something like that. *Shrugs* Just an idea. And it would look damn cool. lol

Making the heads sort of big and in the distance, like in the clouds.

That's a pretty cool idea, and if the heads were in the clouds, it wouldn't be all too cluttered. I've started ideas on a character. I'm thinking maybe a pixie. Some kinda less important character.
