So of course, mum's pissed off... She now hates me because the stupid little kids were making too much noise... and so, she decided it was time that I got grounded.... two days from graduation... which is fine... because all she really did was take away the modem (Yeah, the modem, not the router...) So now, I'm "unable to connect to the internet" mrgreen Well, I did all I could... I mean, there's not much else to try, except maybe bring her breakfast in bed?: Oh, and also... since I might be gone a while... I know the greater half of you may/may not be bored while I'm "disconnected"... thus, I suggest you go check out the video forum, where I hath posted some o' teh funniest stuph ever... trust me on that cool

They spelled cereal wrong by the way eek rofl Woah, de ja vu xd xd Diet water? ...man, I got that beat... ...my favourite drink used to be Diet Air... whee I used to go to the counter and ask for it... they'd think I was crazy... yet, they'd still check in back... and BEHOLD, there it was... the delicious peach-flavoured drink that you're guaranteed to fall in love with, but which is also guaranteed to be taken off the market about a week after you find out how good it is... evil

Brother_Ein lol Okay, so... what's the deal now? You're grounded but you're still coming online? That's my take on it. neutral don't be so quick to assume.. remember what happened when Qui-Gon assumed? Yeah, Padme... who just happened to be the Queen... totally proved him wrong... Yeah.... so here's the scoop... in case the first post was too incomprehensible to you: Mother never grounded me... she DID ground everyone else... however, she never SAID I was grounded, for all she did was take away the modem that my router was connected to... she never SAID I couldn't be online... So, instead...I'm gonna just use my neighbor's connection.... I hear she's a really hawt 16 yearold who got kicked out of school, and ever'once in a while runs away and sells herself to get some cash... so I figure she won't mind too much... twisted

The look was of struggle... geez, get your looks right... I mean, I know you just don't have what it takes to understand looks, or how to have good ones... but seriously... try using someone else's opinion instead of your own.... maybe you'll get somewhere that way mrgreen

I don't like wireless because the signal is never as strong as if you're wired. When I lived with my parents we had a wireless router because my step dad was too lazy to run a wire to my room. But I wasn't close enough where I had a very good signal, so my connection was always a lot slower than my parents, who were plugged into the router. Then I really ended up hating that router because eventually it got all screwed up and had to be reset like every 30 minutes and we were never able to fix it.

This laptop runs on wireless, whereas the computer doesn't. But I can only take the laptop to the backyard or the front yard, then the connection will be poor.

Well, mum's never on the internet... so mine runs extremely fast... I mean, sure it's not as fast as hers... but then, she's got all this firewall and virus protection crap runnin'... AND she's got XP... so really, her's still runs slower cool I'm just awesome, so I make it work.... besides, the router gives me full capability to disable anyone's internet access mrgreen since I own it whee
