MySpace is great... To keep in touch with people.
Most of my friends on myspace are my friends IRL.
Myspace is a good way to tell things to people fast, all at the same time, without having to send a bunch of IMs or calling people, etc.
The reason why a lot of people don't like Gaia is because it's more of an anime community, and there are a lot of people who don't like that.
Even though a lot of the same basic functions belong to both Gaia and Myspace, they are still used with a different purpose in mind.
