I was wondering if anyone here liked Utada Hikaru. She's one of my favorite music artists. So, here are some questions I will like to ask.^_^:
* How did you find out about Utada Hikaru?
* What is your favorite album she made?

* How did you find out about Utada Hikaru?
I found out about her when I first saw the Kingdom Hearts commercials. I fell in love with Simple and Clean and looked up more music about her.
* What is your favorite album she made?
Hm...They are all really good, but my favorite so far is Deep River. I have a feeling her new album, Ultra Blue will be my favorite. It has Passion and This Is Love.^_^
* What is your favorite song(s) she made?
Alot of them! Here's a few: Addicted To You (Up in Heaven mix), Letters, Sunglass, Play Ball, Tokyo Nights, Kettobase!, Passion, Simple and Clean, and...I would keep you here all day if I listed all of them.
* What is your favorite music video she made?
Passion! It is so beautiful! I also love Keep Tryin'. It's so colorful and fun!

How did you find out about Utada Hikaru? From Kingdom Hearts. Put simply. Heh heh. What is your favorite album she made? I... don't know. sweatdrop What is your favorite song(s) she made? I like all the songs she did for KH and KH2. I don't really have a favorite though I picked "Sanctuary" in the poll. 3nodding What is your favorite music video she made? Never seen any of them. Didn't know she even had them.

I found out about Utada Hikaru from Kingdom hearts. I haven't really listened to anything besides the songs she contributed to each game just 2 or 3 over the years. Too bad because i would have really liked her when i was in my pop phase.

Like most everyone else, I heard Simple and Clean when I first played Kingdom Hearts and I fell in love with her music.
* What is your favorite album she made?
Deep River. It has all of my favorite songs on there.
* What is your favorite song(s) she made?
I picked Hikari (Planit B Remix) on the poll because it's such a fast-paced song yet it's easy to sing along with it. But I do like the other songs as options on the polls as well. I also enjoy SAKURA Drops, Shiawase ni Narou, and First Love (such a beautiful song).
* What is your favorite music video she made?
Probably SAKURA Drops, it's a really neat video and it has awesome speical effects. =D
I'd like to add this. Utada Hikaru is probably my all time favorite Japanese artist of all time. Whether it be a song like SAKURA Drops with haunting vocals or a song like First Love, Simple and Clean, or Sanctuary with sad yet beautiful vocals, I believe that Hikaru will always remain on the top of my charts, even if she's at the bottom of the Japanese music charts.
Well, there was my little dedication bit to Hikki. <3 Excuse the sappy-ness. ^^'

I've only listened to Simple and Clean and Sanctuary, and I love them <3. I think i'm going to look up some of her other stuff ^^ Simple and Clean is my favorite, it's so pretty. <3

Yay! As some of you may know, Utada is releasing a new album in June called "ULTRA BLUE". To listen to some clips, you can go here: http://www.toshiba-emi.co.jp/hikki/release/index_j.htmI think it will be a really good album although she doesn't really have any R&B songs unless you count "This Is Love" and "Sunday Morning" as R&B.
